It makes me feel better.
In a brotherly way. Sometimes you just need to blow off some steam even if you don't really mean it.
We are in strange censorship times with regard to what you can and cannot say on any kind of online forum or anywhere for that matter in America.
I participate/read/post on a lot of forums and the amount of censorship on just about all of them is pretty mind-boggling.
I don't ever remember it being this robust in year's past, but I almost feel like I live in a foreign county because I cannot even say the most innocuous of things without someone getting bent out of shape. I can't even talk about real-life topics on certain local FB 'chat' pages in the community where I live without getting banned by the cocksuckers who run the page.
We have been homies for over a decade now and it is amazing how time flies.
I wish everyone was still here but I'm thankful some of the O.G.'s are still kicking it.
I genuinely have nothing but good memories of this place and I do not think for one second that I wasted any of my time by being here because human connection cannot be understated and sometimes it is easier to do it with anonymous people over the internet.
I am thankful we have a forum where we can say the most heinous of things and each one of us can take it on the chin. Trust me, that is a rarity these days. I fear that our political climate is ruining this country on so many fronts, and I worry what is to come for a country that I always felt privileged to have grown up in.
I am a staunch supporter of the 1st Amendment, and I will never acquiesce to anyone or any entity or government who tries to squelch what I have to say. I'll die saying what I want to say.
