Yaaaaa. I rode that "she spit on him and hit him" line pretty hard before. But when i saw that video this morning I almost spit out my coffee.... She basically check hooked her into the elevator side like Floyd check hooked Ricky Hatton into the turnbuckle...and nothing in the video prior to it remotely supported the idea that shorty did anything in the moment that deserved that kind of response, or that dude simply did a split second response to something heinous.  He's the new captain hook. She was obviously drunk, and out of hand, but he aint need to do her like that, not at all. |

Upon seeing the video, the Baltimore Ravens swiftly ripped up Ray Rice's contract and terminated him  Everyone has seen the video. My sister hit me up 10 minutes ago, "Did you see the video???? I know I shouldn't, but I'm laughing! But she still married him after the box she got so I guess she wasnt that affected." Truth. Hope you saved your money Ray. im confused. the video doesn't show anything we didn't already know, we just never actually saw it until now. But when we just knew, he got suspended a couple games and didn't get cut, but now that the footage of what we already knew happened now surfaces, the NFL and Baltimore act all swiftly as if its some sort of revelation?? wtf?? This isn't anything new here. |

Here we go, now people are trying to take shots at Gooddell. I think Roger has gotten it right the whole damn time. Shit happened, and he didnt rush to any judgement, he just made a decision based on the facts. He got Ray and his wife in there, and they tried to pass on this lie together that she attacked him in the elevator. So he gave Ray the slap on the wrist since they didnt have no actual rules aimed at domestic violence. He then institutes said rules for future scenarios. Now this video surfaces, and it seems like RG bypasses his own rules and suspends Rice indefinitely, instead of the 6 or 8 games or whatever for the first time offender, so now ppl ae firing shots at RG for breaking his own rules. But you gotta look at it like this, Ray isnt getting punished for simply being a first time offender, hes getting punished for being a first time offender, and trying to push a lie by and through the commissioner with the sole purpose of minimizing consequences. Indefinite suspension is the right call here. And any dude in the future who tries to lie after battering his chick better fear the hammer! |

They (The Rice's) cooked up the original story to Goddell to make it look like she attacked him in the elevator. Remember that "she spit on me and hit me" shit? should've been a huge suspension from the jump, which is why Roger changed the rules and publicly acknowledged that he failed in the handling of the situation. At the end of the day Rice is serving everything he should be serving. And Roger still sucks at his job. |

I dont agree. Based on what was in that video it should have been a huge suspension. Goddell got told by Ray and his wife that she attacked him. The difference between what he was told, and what is in the video is pretty well the difference between the first punishment that he got and indefinite suspension. |

Im hearing now that Ray didnt lie to them and told them exactly what had gone on in the video, and even that they had a law enforcement guy watch the video and tell them what was in it, and he confirmed rays story. They didnt watch it themselves because police wouldnt turn over the tape. If that's the case then both the ravens and the league are wrong for suspending the guy after the fact. |

ive never believed for a second that Roger came down lightly on Ray simply based on the belief that the wife was the initial instigator. That's a rather ridiculous way of going about things actually, even too ridiculous for someone like Roger. Ray is where he's supposed to be at the end of the day, but the process just highlights how inept Roger is at his job. |

I'm kind of getting sick of those coming out of the woodwork talking about how "WE" need to get Ray Rice some help and all that shit. You know what, Janay married Ray after this, let them work through this as a couple. WE dont need to get in their fucking business. This whole thing really bothers me now. So the shit happened, and we saw dude dragging her out of an elevator, and he gets two games. And we see the video and now its complete firing. The most important person in this scenario is Janay, and not only has she forgiven him and stood by him, she married him. But her forgiveness gets down played as her just doing what the stereotypical abuse victim does, as if every single abuse victim should just burn the bridge and move on. And he ends up getting fired essentially not because of the crime, and not because of the woman who has quite clearly forgiven him, but because of public outcry. And now, the people who suffer most because of this, are her and their kids. Does not feel good. You can talk about how important it is to send a message about domestic violence all you like, but the above does not feel good at all. |

I been watching Roger Goodell for some time now. His demeanor leads me to believe that he has slapped a bitch or two in his day. So that 2 game suspension at first played into his thinking about slapping up a hoe and it's justification in it. But since the tape got leaked he felt he needed to do more cause of media outcry. |
