that's interesting, but half the players, the offensive players, im sure love the rules. At this point they just gotta play the game the way they know how and whatever happens will happen as far as officiating goes.

You know what would be great? If in week 1 all of the teams just let the offenses score. Every time one team went on offense, the defense would just get on the line of scrimmage, and do nothing. How amazing would that be?

So these first couple of games have been disgusting with the amount of penalties. If this continues into the regular season I don't know what I am gonna do. I hope I don't give up on the NFL like I did the NBA due to all the flopping and excessive fouls, home team favoritism.

I haven't watched any of the pre season games, but I can already envision it. Sports as a whole has lost its luster in terms of watchability. I think I'm gonna have to look into different hobbies.

I've been saying for years now, as have a few of you as well, that the game is not as good as it used to be. A large part of it's appeal for me stems from fantasy football.

The old days of legendary games between the Ravens and Steelers is long gone. Those games used to be absolutely fucking vicious. They were incredible TV that surpassed my favorite sport in boxing.

It's really not true anymore. I still watch and I still look forward to it, but anyone who enjoyed those years of James Harrison vs Ray Lewis, that brief 3-4 years of unrivaled ferocity, know that the game today is simply not the same.

Yea but that Sf-Seattle Championship game was brutal. So I'm still holding out hope the game can still be vicious.

SF-Sea last year in the playoffs was one of the best games ive seen in a long time, not that there hasn't been a lot of great ones but that one was the best.

speaking of penalties this selfish idiot Jimmy Graham drew two 15 yd flags for dunking on the goal post, and got his bitch ass chewed out by coach Payton for his troubles. I love it. Its a dumb rule but its not that big a deal either way, spike the ball and slap 5 with your teammates and enjoy your 10 mil dollars a year.

I like that Jimmy Graham . Its Fuckin preseason, its a dumb ass rule, can't wait to see what dumbasses do it in a real game. Maybe in a blow out but that would be a hilarious if some excited TE or WR dunked it, only to get penalized and his team lose the game due to it lol
