By the time Eddie became a big star i was off of wrestling. Good for Eddie tho. When i watxhed it was him and chavo just contending.

I was a fan of WCW and recognized they had dope people like Sting and The Four Horsemen, Vader. I would say some stars WCW did better with than WWF.

I mean they took an old ass Hogan and Razor ramon and them and started a movement. And Vader was a much bigger deal in the WCW, and I would say Flair was well.

What WCW needed was better production value and more intense wrestling. WWE’s action was always faster, more intense and you felt it more.

very true. WWF was ultimately stronger behind the scenes, creatively, thats where they won the war. WCW had all the best talent as Jermz pointed out. but no vision.

i was watching Sting v Hogan from a '99 WCW PPV last night. Sting could perform. but it takes 2. It was a horrible match. Hogan was a terrible performer. irs why Austin never wanted to perform with him.

Hogans style and performance hinged largely on his audience being fucking children. The reason why as an old wrestler he still had head, was because that same young generation who were kids became teens and adults and were nostalgic as fuck. He was always a terrible performer. Easily the biggest smoke and mirror wrestler of all time. I dont know one single hogan match that I look back on and say wow. Except maybe him against warrior, and him against rock. And the rock for all the hating I do on him, could make a match against a paper bag look amazing.

any memorable Hogan match was memorable cause of the hype of the match and the talented opponent carrying his ass. Warrior, Rock, Flair, and HBK come to mind.

NWO Hogan was even worse of performer. Hilarious though.

WCW did use their own cast better. Sid Vicious, Lex Luger, Ric Flair, The Giant, Vader, Sting, Goldberg, etc. They just pushed the older fighters more and had so many more wrestlers.

Just the same as ECW and how they used Raven, RVD, Saturn, Taz and the Dudley Brothers better

i actually thought WWF got great burn out of the Dudley's. especially with those Tables and TLC matches. even if you wanna argue ECW Dudley's were better, WWF did great with them. They did cool with RVD but it should've been much more. RVD was an absolute stud. They absolutely blew it with Taz.
