Yeah, that shits going to the grave. Side note, even as a C's fan, I respected the FUCK outta Isaiah and them Bad Boys. Isaiah's fucked up his legacy with his shitty ass post playing career, but I loved watching that man play

Isaiah just thought it was his time after magic and bird, thought he had a dynasty, and didnt want to pass the torch. I can't blame him, but hey sportsmanship and all that.

The bad boy pistons definitely get overlooked as a force, and are moreso only brought up as the path to Jordans greatness. Doesn't help that the more recent piston squad, which I honestly think was a superior team, went and got a chip and almost another...further diminishing the bad boy pistons legacy. They were some bad boys!

That said, I like the Sheed Wallace Pistons better

Shit its cool. It got super hyped i dont think its all that but i def think its a must watch and I am showing it to my kids i feel its mandatory they learn about greatness.

I like how they are splitting up everyone story so far one by one. That Jerry Krause fellow, definition of love and hate probably for Bulls fans.

what do you think of the notion of MJ averaging 50ppg in this era?? he averaged well over 30ppg while shooting a good % in a tough defensive minded era with lots of contact and hand checking allowed. i think he could average 44/45 a game naturally without over extending himself.

You are right, but I think the NBA would adjust back to choke that down.

why would they. they're already in cahoots with Harden to try and get him to 40 ppg. why would they have issue with MJ doing it??

Because Jordan would put up 50 LOL

Ya, Jordan averages 40 minimum in this era. That's basically a way more durable Kawhi Leonard with ATG offensive prowess. He'd destroy this league.

There was a local sports radio debate about how some of the legends would fare in todays game. Consenus was that guys like Jordan and Bird were made for todays nba, while shaq, Charles, and the big bangers would struggle

i could see that with Shaq. not Barkley. Charles wasnt some stiff limited slug of a big man.

No, but he was a physical presence that isn't allowed to exist in the NBA today. And, maybe my memory is wrong, but he wasn't much of a shooter, which is required of guys his size today

Shaq would struggle unless he had a good coach...because the coaches of today simply wouldnt run the ball through him that deep in the post consistently. And then his foul shooting would be an issue also. But he'd still eat on some bottom feeder until a team on the cusp picked him up and ran to a title. Barkley would be a hard working 4 with good fundamentals, and I could see him developing a longer range game to cope with todays game. He wasn't useless from 3, it's just an aspect of his game he never had to practice. No reason to believe he wouldnt have been better at it in an era that demands it.

Shaq wasnt developing no 3 pt shot in any era. Dude couldn't hit his fts at a good clip, 3pt game? Naw.

Barkley had FT's and mid range. His shot could have been expanded.

A+ assessment on Barkley by Jermz. Barkley would've been a much more polished and offensively refined Draymond Green.

Did Jordan get his father killed? And should Jordan have gotten the Pete Rose treatment?

Jordan was more G than I knew him to be, I knew his greatness, but he was a G. Everything else is shit I heard off, abiut him being insanely competitive, pretty interesting how much tension was recorded between the players and Krause.

This is all old news....we already knew Mike was a scumbag dickhead :hearty-laugh: :hearty-laugh:
Didn't know how bad him, Scottie and Phil disrespected Krause tho man

Always calling him little man and saying he needed a ladder to reach the rim....no wonder he broke up the team wen he had the chance
I don't blame him man cuz the end was coming anyway

Bull probably would have won a 4th straight year...
Lockout would have helped Scottie and mikes old ass...but it was over a 36 yr old Mike was losing to prime Kobe and Shaq

Not even a guarantee they would have beat Duncan and drob but dam sure wasn't beating Kobe and Shaq...
