You got a family, you will have enough $$$ to take care of them. risk is not worth the reward in this case.

Plus, there are no teams beating down his door to take a risk on him.

Ya, take the money, quit, and stay in the sport in the various other capacities available. Former players have plenty of options, not only in the NFL, but in other football leagues, b-league and developmental.

Nah he should play. Hes ony 27 and he clearly wants to play. He could end up blowing that money on bullshit trying to cope with the fact that he can no longer play. If he really wants to, and hes worked hard to get back, keep playing. People will always say you cant do something.

If he doesn't want to than definitely. But if the fire still burns fuck it. Look at Peyton. People thought he was done.

can Finley earn as much as 10 mil if he keeps playing?? I dont think the health and productivity will be there for him. No one is gonna give him a lot of money and he wont be productive enough even if he is healthy enough to take the field.

^10 million? Hell no.

Word in Pittsburgh is we have tried to sign him pretty aggressively but he won't take the amount of money we are offering (prob in the 800k-1.8 mil range, around or a little more than the vet min).
