yea. he's pretty good. :iamwithstupid:

i got momentarily excited over the stupid reports of KD and Kawhi wanting to play together and the fact that it was only possible with the Clips or Knicks. but from the jump as has been documented, i never bought into the KD/Kyrie to the Knicks nonsense. so the reality is after having drafted Barrett and getting Randle and Bobby Portis, also a tough solid veteran in Taj Gibson, the Knicks have done relatively well and should be much improved. im happy with their moves cause im not operating off that nonsensical KD to NY dream that was never a possiblity.

i wanna say it was mostly media hype, but that moron James Dolan got on radio and basically guaranteed the Knicks were gonna strike it rich in free agency. and delusional Knicks fans bought into it. not me but a majority of them unfortunately did. thats why Knicks fans are rage against the machine today but if reality ever sets in for them they'll realize a decent offseason is unfolding. Knicks won 17 games last season, im thinking 32 this next season.

To be fair, locally, all year up until the off season started it was kyrie to the knicks.

Knicks racking up the FA pick ups.

all solid yet unspectacular players. Randle and RJ have to play big. 35 wins would be super encouraging.

Its not a shit on randle. I wish the lakers kept him. I like randle. But compared to what the knicks thumped their chest for, its a laughable acquisition. Ill be cheering for them either way since rj barrett is a fellow torontonian.

Randle is a 20/10 caliber guy. Payton averaged 7 assists last year. Knox and Robinson showed some promise last year and are still babies. and RJ Barrett is the centerpiece and must challenge for ROTY in year 1 and be an All Star consideration by year 2 and a flat out stud by year 3. and management shouldnt worry about adding any superstar free agents until they put a winning season together.

Agreed. They should be out of the basement minimum. 500ish.

I was holding out hope for Kemba, I just think nobody wants to be part of anything with Dolan.

I'm not mad at this team at all, and I want 45 wins.

Fuck that.

We have a few second year players that I believe can take significant steps, everybody forgot about Knox and Robinson.

Fuck Zion. Fuck KD, fuck Irvin and his diva bipolar ass.fuck em all.

45 wins in 2020-2021. 31-35 wins this year upcoming. i also thought Kemba was the only semi-realistic big time FA we could get. But Dolan, yea. I see Rudy Goebert potential in Robinson. Knox can be a 16 a game scorer, good perimeter shooter and defender. Randle needs to be 20/10 and the biggest factor is Barrett being an All Star player very sooner than later.

this is by far the biggest opportunity the Knicks have had in 20 years to build an effective young nucleus from the ground up. they better not blow it. its up to Fizdale.
