Does this man have too much power over the NBA?

Dont really see how, he has the clout of being Lebrons friend. But hes not doing anything that other good agents dont do. Him and Davis are going to force that LA trade. NO wants to hard ball their way into sending him where the assets are greater. Well...Pauls counter.....is telling those teams...itll only be a one year thing. Thats just good representation.

Aye. You see the story about how he was offering assistant coaching jobs in LA to people?

Was he?? I'd say thats pretty impressive. Thats him applying his leverage for sure. Maybe agents should be doing that kind of thing. Using their high end clients as leverage against teams. I think its a one time thing because the lakers are such a screw job, he's taking them to the cleaners dangling the rest of lebrons career, and anthony davis, and the rest of his clients present and future over them like a carrot. I'd say thats just creative business.

Should agents be forced to operate in a box? How much is too much? Lets see if teams/owners start complaining.

Sucks for the Celtics  , Rich Paul is not a factor. A player of Davis' caliber tells you he wants to go elsewhere and its only gonna be one year, stay the fuck away from him. Kawhi never told the raps that, so they gambled.

Aye. At this point I am against going after AD. Gotta take a few steps back, let tatum and brown develop, pray that Hayward can become functional again, and hope to attract another FA down the road.

Yup. There is just no big name free agent that wants to go to the Celts. KD dont, AD dont, Kawhi dont, Klay dont. Just assess the talent out there, and get the best talent out there at center, deepen the bench. Rozier 1, Tatum 2, Brown/Hayward 3, Horford 4, go find 2 fives. Play ball. If you have to move assets to get the 5, its not worth it. Too soon to part with what you have, unless some sucker wants to take Hayward.

The only team that falls into that category would be NO, because they have a superstar that is walking either way. Teams know it, so the trade value ain't gonna be there. At least with Hayward you have that hope of an upside that he can return to form. Nobody's gonna give NO the farm for 1 year of AD, or in the case of LA, knowing that the year after he's coming there anyways.

You guys just need your team to function. If Gasol doesnt opt in to his contract with the raps, you'd be wise to pick him up. You guys just need an aging vet at that spot and some bench players, and your draft picks for the best talent possible at the draft position. And yall will be better next year, and if you arent, just blow the team up.

Or hey go make a run at boogie cousins!

Boogie never gets a fair shake. He's still the most skilled big man in basketball. If implemented right he could anchor a defense and be an inside out post force. Put him aside Horford, he'd thrive. Thats your best super team opportunity, offer the house for Boogie at the first opportunity. Short of the max.
