That was an impressive performance against Barboza, aided by a vicious eye poke, but he was aggressive and smooth in his attack. Hard leg kicks right from jump, while avoiding most of barbozas big shots in return. Barboza was rocked and looked winded after about 2 and half minutes |

Yep, Gaethje is the man. He could absolutely beat all the top 155, but, take one on the chin just as well. Not after he has whipped your ass though. The Poirier and Alvarez fights are examples. Watch some of the older World Series of fights with Gaethje in them. All of them are good. He is my favorite as well. |

I wouldn't be surprised if Cowboy beats Gaethje of course not. but, from a purely stylistic POV, its the absolute worst match up for Cowboy in the division. Cowboys biggest weakness is high pressure high volume strikers. he has repeatedly been overwhelmed by pressure and volume. and absolutely nobody in MMA history does that more effectively than Gaethje. its gonna be a wild firefight. Cerrones been involved in some of those but never actually won any of them. its not his game. his only shot is early survival and eventually landing something huge to take Gaethje out. |

Justin Gaethje is straight icing motherfuckers right now. 3 consecutive first rd KOs. that fight couldve ended alot uglier for Cowboy had Gaethje not shown him mercy. if a Conor fight presents itself, Justin knocks him out. if not, he should await the winner of Khabib-Ferguson, and Justin should absolutely be guaranteed that shot. Gaethje will be LW champ sooner or later, one way or the other. |
