Theyll need another shooter i think and tinker heavily with the lineup to find their optimal. But they will without a doubt make the playoffs. Maybe they should give Kobe a call and ask him if he wants to be a spot up shooter.

the Lakers went out of their way to purposely not overly stress the desperation for shooters the way Cleveland always did. they figure if they get guys that are tough both physically and mentally, and can defend, and play fundamentally sound ball, they'd be better off that way. and then they'd probably have enough outside shooting to get by. and James himself probably explained this to team brass.

An astute observation. Im not overly concerned about the shooters. Their paint point numbers for a team trying to gel were absurd. If you can play penetration ball that well....it reduces the need for 3 pt shooters who cant defend. And keeps the other team in foul trouble.

It's definitely possible for them to miss the playoffs. I had my doubts at first, but not anymore. They'll get in . 3-5 isn't that bad of a start for a new team still learning how to play together.

Ya they probably wont. Too many moving parts and too many injuries. I know certain men here wont cosign this....but the Rondo injury really did them in. Rondo and Brons chemistry in the short term was going to determine shit...because Lonzo ainy even to the point where he knows himself his body and his game yet. When Rondo went down....it hurt their prospects, and when Lebron got hurt it was checkmate.

Luke Walton didnt help anything either with his awful lineups and bad subs.
