Not close to true. But alright.

Probably the biggest night in Sixers franchise history since 00-01.

That is beyond sad.

Not really. It'll go a long way to determining how long this rebuild will be and how successful it will ultimately be.

Your team's biggest night in 14 years revolves around a ping pong ball. Come on, that's sad. You can admit it while still maintaining optimism. And if there were a Lebron in the draft, I'd actually agree with you.

I hope the Lakers, Wolves, or Suns get the #1 pick, or one of the first 3, or maybe those 3 going 1-2-3 in some order. every other team deserves to stay miserable, and most will regardless of what happens.

It'll be Wiggins, who is a freak athlete and an okay basketball player.

Cleveland with two #1 picks in a row, and I bet they still suck.

well so you can say its a given that wiggins will go 1 or 2. so than the sixers will get to choose between who doesnt get picked between parker or embiid and exum.

they already have noel so picking centers in back to back drafts would be interesting. then exum is kind of like mcw.

plus they have the 10th pick. interesting

Hopefully the Cavs can make the playoffs next year so the NBA will stop apologizing to them for the Lebron fiasco. And I feel truly sorry for whoever goes #2 to the Bucks.

So three #1 picks for the Cavs in four years. Not only is it borderline meaningless, it's fixed, too.

I really don't know. Obviously I'd try everything to get Wiggins at 1. I'd take Parker over Embiid, think they can play together and just block everything. Not like Embiid can't hit jumpers. His shot is actually pretty good. I'm really intrigued by Exum. Seems Westbrookish speed wise. Parker's defense worries me a ton so I'd have him 5th. Whatever Hinkie does I'll be fine with. He's smarter than me. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't pick at 3 and 10.

Yeah...because the NBA is dying to put their star in a big market like Cleveland.

I don't actually believe that. But the Cavs will continue to suck. That I'm sure of.

If they don't take Wiggins...they deserve whatever comes their way. They'd be insane not to.

The NBA lottery essentially acted as a parent trying to teach a kid how to tie his shoes who eventually loses patience and does it for him. "No, don't draft Anthony Bennett. Wait, why are you signing Bynum? Fuck it, take this pick and we'll figure it out later."

Wiggins is the easy choice, but how long can the Cavs neglect the big man they desperately need? They passed on Valanciunas for Thompson. Passed on Drummond for Waiters. Passed on Noel for Bennett. Not saying it was wrong to do so in every case, but they've clearly been filling up every space on the floor but one, and that's why Embiid is a better fit. They're already going to get great production from their backcourt. Why add another scorer when you can add a 7 foot two-way center who is going to continue to learn the game and get better? You can create Wiggins with the aggregate of Deng (already a good start), Thompson (#4 overall pick), Bennett (#1 overall pick) and Gee (solid role player). I don't think they can come close to attaining Embiid's value with Hawes and Verajao. But I understand Deng is a free agent and they'll likely let him walk and bring in Wiggins. How that will make them a drastically better team will be interesting to keep an eye on.

tjarks has said that they would be crazy to pass on embiid, simmons wrote yesterday that everyone would pick embiid and they are worried about his injury stuff is the nba guys playing politics.

Sorry, you can't tell me this shit isn't rigged. Cavs get 3 of the last 4 #1 picks? Statistically almost impossible. Fuck this.

Ive been thinking it was rigged since that year the NBA took over the Charlotte franchise and they instantly had the #1 pick . I really hate every other draft format besides the NFL.

Calls are already rolling in for the top pick. Wouldn't surprise me if they traded it.

yea I agree, but the lottery was put in place to prevent teams from tanking, and guess what, they still have teams tanking anyway, so imagine if the NBA draft was like the NFLs. I remember the year the Colts ended up getting Luck, they had a win late in the year I think against the Jags, and people were criticizing them saying they are trying to blow the Luck pick.
