As far as Serena and Rousey, it's a difference in sports and you have to give Serena the credit for dominating her sport much longer than rousey would ever dominate mma, and you know I love rousey. Her size and figure should be commended since her hard working cultivation of it is not only partly responsible for her success, but she maintains it in this atmosphere of women tennis players being the average size that they are....merely for non tennis related reasons. Serena didnt come out of her moms vagina chiseled. In fact earlier in her career she was knocked for being lazy and overweight. Look at her now! Other girls could pack on a similar kind of mass. YOu guys don't follow what Im saying. Give her a wooden racquet and see how she play. Tennis has changed over the years because of racquet tech. Its so much different to compare her to tennis greats of the past. She is great no doubt. But tennis is one of those strange sports than tech has caused to be something so different than what it used to be. She is a great all time athlete no doubt. I don't dispute it. I think there have been better mostly because tennis is too specific and not exactly the definition of an athletic test. Heptathletes are certainly better for every reason. |
