The lakers start at 0-3 against what turns out to be 3 of the best teams in basketball right now. Everyone blames Russ despite the fact that literally the entire team is shooting individually and as a group at historically low percentage levels, including Lebron and AD. Russ gets the entire blame, even though the 3 games happened to be close and the lakers defensive efficiency is top 3 in the league through them and the games were close outside of the opener which was close at a point. So Russ doesn't play game 4 due to a hammy, and guess what, the lakers lose this game too, even wider, and Lebron ends up with something like 9 turnovers. Somehow they'll find a way to blame Russ for this too. The reason why Lebron wanted Russ on the team isn't because of shooting, it's because he wanted someone to be a facilitator because he doesn't want to be that anymore. Yet, they play Russ off ball as a spot up too often, which is his fucking kryptonite, and when Russ does have the ball, both Lebron and Davis stand around and do nothing. Sure, Russ is having serious problems, but the two superstars who are supposed to be high IQ players, demonstrate no fucking IQ when they play with Russ, and that's the real fucking problem with the lakers. |

They are built to do one thing, but they spend the whole game trying to do something else. If you aren't going to play to your strengths, you should absolutely just stay the fuck home. If that collection of players can't figure this out, they should all be traded. |

0-5 Watched the game. No Davis. It actually says a lot that the game was as close as it was, that team is such a mess. The lakers need to blow it all up. And with it all, Westbrook is still the 3rd best player on the team by a wide margin and the fact that they want him to lead a second unit is more a failure of them not getting proper players around the 3. |
