My scoring suggestions are similar for this league.

Punish the kickers -2 points for missed extra point and -2 points for any FG 29 yards or less.
Give defenses 20 points for zero points scored and 12 points for 1-6 points scored and 8 points for 7-13 points scored.

I'd definitely like at least two designated flex spots. I hate seeing guys just languish on the bench when they could be playing.

We should just make it so that all trades go thru no matter what. We've tried it pretty much every other way so trading should basically be like the Wild Wild West this year in both leagues. That's kind of where I stand. Every trade should go through. I've tried to be reasonable with trading for years but some people just don't have a good moral compass for trading so since that is the case, every trade should go through.

No disrespect to Jermz obviously, but it's OUR league. I'd rather me and you have final say over our trade than Jermz. Automatic trades. As long as grown men don't act like bitches and realize that bad ill advised trades isn't collusion, and collusion is the only grounds for veto, then there should be zero controversy with automatic trades. A few sore asses for sure, but that's fine.

Y'all don't know what that means though so no matter what every trade should go thru. I am giving y'all want but now y'all are trying to put rules on automatic trades. Every trade should go through no matter what.

I must've missed that. If it's by commish approval, then good luck approving ones trade and vetoing another trade. I'm sure that'll work out well.

I am leaving the system as is, by veto.

After years of lobbying yahoo in private, they have finally made the veto number programmable. So if there are 12 ppl in the league, I can set the veto number to maybe 8 or something. I will decide the number with input from the league. Yahoo FF is now perfect in terms of settings.

But no, i will not do an automatic accept trade system. Ice is right. We've been there. If some ultra stupid shit or some collusion goes on, the managers have a right to veto. I'm not going to do commish approval, even though I am the most fair commish around here, I want managers to have a vote. Democracy I say. I hope Ice does the same in his league, but he's the boss over there, im boss over here

Well I know your position, I've heard it from you before, all respect. But the reality is, certain dudes always voting based on who is getting what was a bigger problem when we couldnt set the threshold higher. Now that it's high, much like any other vote on planet earth, such ppl will be drowned out by the majority.

Now, if the entire majority is against it, well then, the shit just shouldnt go through. Period.

There isnt even enough communication between managers in this league as is to posit that collusion in vetoes goes on. So I respectfully disagree with the idea that it can go on if the threshold is up around...say...8 managers. But I am glad it's not a deal breaker for you brah. Give it a year. If it amounts to a complete shit show, we'll do something diff another year. Ive wanted this fucking setting for a while. We had it like that in the nfl league, and for whatever problems we had there, vetoes werent one.
