Super fucking amped. Huge ppv card with 3 of my favorites on the same card in Anthony Smith, Derrick Lewis and the GOAT Amanda Nunes. Also Kara-France/Moreno 2 for the interim 126 title. Hoping to catch Danny Garcia card afterwards. Then Sunday morning off to vacation. Got a 6 fight parlay with Smith, Lewis, Pantoja, Nunes, Antuan-Russel, and Danny G. $50 for $1055 return. Should be a great week starting Saturday night.

The UFC loves them some interim champions lol just so they can make their corny ass champion vs champion narratives . Rinse and repeat. I also can't believe people want to see Derrick lewis now. Love me some Amanda Nunes, she's a fuckin beast.


I didn't give two fucks about the DSG fight but dammit now sadly i do. His dad and social media helped that. Benavidez looked significantly taller but Danny appears to be in great shape as usual. If it took TC 12 rounds to get rid of Bena, Danny better not be fucking around.

Lmao. Yea I can't even argue against that. It's simply a #1 contenders fight. And it's a great match up. But yea, that BS interim shit. One of my favorite moments ever was when Gaethje won the interim belt and as soon as they handed it to him he tossed that shit to the ground and said I'm here for the real shit lol.

Lewis got starched in his last 2 but at least that was against 2 guys in the top 3 at HW. His opponent is an up and coming 15-1 fighter with power, but still untested. Should be fun and someone guaranteed to go to sleep. With Nunes I'm supremely confident, eager and nervous. I think their first fight was a fluke. But, it might just be the end of Amanda's time. We'll see.

And great point about Benavidez going 12 with TC. I was gonna put Danny down to win by KO, but then I thought about that exact TC point and just picked him to win. I still think he can and maybe will score a stoppage but it's to risky. I just hope Danny gives the type of performance that makes us interested in seeing him again.

Amanda fought like she underestimated shorty last time. Tried to just steam roll her, a slower fighter with a good mug but with good timing. And Amanda just got the shit timed out of her til she gave her back up to be submitted. Game Amanda who fights a fight like she's in the ring with Shevchenko never loses against that caliber of opponent, and if she ever fought Shevchenko like that she would have got her shit pushed in.

I am betting on Amanda getting his shit together in the rematch.

Pena almost had it on them submission attempts. But Amanda fought the smarter more tactical fight. I'd like to see it happen again. Maybe not immediate but there should be a rubber match. Juliana trying to do the submissions without the blood wrecking grip would be interesting.

They can run it back simply out of respect for it being 1-1 and Pena being tough as nails. But the next fight will be even worse for Pena. She's no match, outside of her insane toughness and will. But Amanda remedied all that in the rematch and wasn't coming off of Covid.

Man that was so satisfying. Amanda showed her entire arsenal. She was just better prepared mentally and physically and took Pena seriously. And paced herself. Her power is such that she never has to rush or get into a brawl. Just calmly place those shots. Those hands are deadly weapons. And no Jermz those odds weren't disrespectful towards Pena. Quite the opposite actually. Nunes went from -1200 to -280 from fight 1 to fight 2.

Pena is going to need plastic surgery to piece that forehead back together. Ouch.

Pena matches up oddly well with Nunez, not even sure why, besides the fact that she can ear a lot of the power that Nunez throws at her.
I can actually see Pena hurting Nunez with one shot, before Nunez doing it to Pena, and Pena certainly can work on the ground with Nunez, so yea, Nunez out that work in, but do it again. It's fun to see Nunez pushed like that, only brings out the greatness, let's do it again after the plastic surgery, I got paper on Pena for the rubber match.
