I can't believe they are banning the shift. That seems unconstitutional.  Seriously though that's horrible. Might as well ban holding runners on in order to increase base stealing. Jesus. |

Oh but wait A, they kinda are And trust me when I tell you I haven't vetted this but the dudes they told me are die hard, but apparently sort of the rule changes are that pitchers have to deliver the next pitch within 14 seconds of receiving the ball from the catcher Now I don't know if that includes while having runners on base, but that shit is wild, and yea, how the fuck you gonna tell a team how they can and can't position their players on the field They gonna be calling off sides and shit

Just happy that baseball will be back man fuck it... I feel like banning the shift is horrible if someone can't go the other way than defensive positioning should be rewarded. That's called sound strategy and exploiting ur opponents weakness banning it makes no sense and is just horrible...it also sends the wrong message to hitters that u don't have to work on ur craft or ever improve and learn to go the other way which is also very horrible |

I also thought they banned the extra inning runner, seems like the only sure changes are the 7 inning double headers being gone and the NL being DH also. |

It still feels surreal that the Mets and Yankees played in a WS against one another, I definitely didn't take it for granted and was glued to every second of that series, but still seems surreal, not sure how NY survived that shit - I stand firm in saying that I have never heard a louder of rowd than the first ever Mets vs Yankees game in interleague play, that includes every other game played whether regular season or playoffs, there has never ever beenna louder crowd at a baseball game. Throw all game 7's in there in the historynkf baseball, the first game NY played in interleague against eachother was ridiculously loud, nothing compares to it. Not even the 5 WS games they played. |
