I also think Carolina beats NYJ. They are healthier across the board, and even tho Darnold is still rookie-esque lol they are not starting a rookie.

CMC and some of those weapons they got, along with Brian burns and d.brown bringing the heat on the other end, should get CAR the win. And Darnold and robby get their revenge.

Baltimore over LV, tho i could see an upset, i wont bet on it. Lamar and them boys get it in on primetime

I really dont believe in Darnold either. Once that rush gets in his face he will go full Darnold again, but CAR as a whole got too much talent to mess this up. Even tho the Jets will go hard for Saleh first game, CAR got too much firepower and defensive fortitude.

Darnold will still have those Darnold moments, where he coughs it up or just panicks with heat in his face. But he doesnt have to do much, with guys like CMC, DJ moore and them boys. So yes i expect to play decent, probably have a moment or two if the jets can still generate pressure without Carl lawson and whomever else they lost.

But hand it over alot, lip screen plays and slants, converting and making plays when he has to. It shouldn't take much to beat the Jets the talent gap between these teams is tremendous

gotcha. im interested in seeing Darnold with actual weapons. Jets will shut Cmac down in the run game, but the potential for CMC to run amok in the passing game is scary. i actually think its gonna be a high scoring game. Carolinas D aint shit. i can see both QBs slinging it effectively, with a few turnovers mixed in.
