Yup. Good fighter, solid wrestler, resume is solid. Just hand skills subpar. If this were Nasty Nate or Nick, or the ruthless or more of a standup specialist, i would probably take them over Paul, but any wrestler type im taking Paul all day. |

Woodleys striking might be better now that its all that he has to rely on. And in the end he's still an elite athlete. He just needs to keep those hands up around his ears man, because all those Paul boys do is fight straight up, no head movement, telegraph their shots, throw that wide hook, only move with their legs, and hold. Darren Tills with wheels. All depends on how much Woodley has left. His legacy has been taking a hit since he faded though. It was questionable to begin with based on how he was winning his fights, but even with all that he was getting compared to GSP because he was winning. Then with the losses piling up and Usman surpassing him in spectacular fashion, Woodley is an after thought in the patheon. It's not fair that his legacy should be on the line in a boxing ring, but if he gets floored by a youtuber, it will take a hit. If he knocks kids head off his legacy is off of line support. And I say all that as pretty much the main T-Wood supporter here! |

The other question is, is Pauls power actually legit! We know Woodleys is. But Paul knocking out Nate Robinson and Askren, both smaller untrained guys, on a wide probably eyes closed hook doesn't really legitimize power. Just as we should prepare for Paul being hit with something he's never felt before, we should be prepared for Paul landing on Woodley and it not having the effect he's used to it having, and then the possibly demoralization that maybe he's not as good as he thought he was. Woodley is 39 and by all means very faded. Jake is super young and hits pretty fuckin hard. I dont know how he takes a shot, or if he will be outmanned by a dude who really been there. But by all means youth and power I feel are on his size. If he takes Woodleys shot and nothing happens I think Woodley is in trouble. Well i think Woodley in trouble regardless. Im not taking older shot non-strikers against this kid. Gonna have to be a still useful striker or boxer to do it, but we'll see. I think Woodley gets KTFO or loses a decision or makes it a close decision fight just off toughness, or activity, but I'm going with Paul. |

Yall need to be worried about the fact that both these dudes is 190 but Woodley is 4 inches shorter. That dont bode well for Pauls supposed power. Paul is not in better shape than Woodley. He aint faster, he aint stronger, he aint more experience, he aint an elite level athlete like that. The only thing he has is a conventional reach advantage, and I dont even think he has it if its measures from the joint to the fist. Paul getting man'd up tonight. |
