as has been the case in the playoffs, TB will ride or die with their D. they're not winning a shootout. fantastic stat i heard yesterday. Mahomes has lost 9 games in his career, which itself is astounding. but in those losses, the opposing offense has averaged 35 carries for over 160 yds. basically, time of possession, keep Mahomes off the field. can TB do that with Jones/Fournette?? and play timely D in between?? thats what this game comes down to for TB, despite all the nauseating Tompa talk. on D, after foolishly playing man to man to start off, TB decided to flat out double team Hill and Kelce and were very successful. will they employ that from the jump?? will KC be ready for it?? also, as insignificant as he's been, i have a funny feeling about Leveon Bell in this one. Prediction: KC wins 33-27 MVP- Patrick Mahomes Game time food- BBQ wings, Buffalo wings, Mozzarella sticks, chips-n-guac Pregame drinks- champagne Game time drinks- champagne |

Kc gotta upgrade that oline their O line was fine. just bad luck without both their starting tackles going up against the best D line in the NFL. they got pressure on pretty much every play, without blitzing. so maximum pressure with just 4, meaning 7 in coverage. nothing Mahomes could do. once the 2 back up tackles couldnt hold up, game over. |

The chiefs also limped into the superbowl. This is the game I thought the Chiefs would have against buffalo, with Mahomes hobbled. No excuse though, TB did the damn thing and applied some serious pressure. And big Tom did what big Tom do under the lights! |

yea man, you had that horrific personal matter as well as the situation with the O line being in disarray, but like you said, no excuses. TB obliterated them in all phases. I also wasnt in love with any of those early critical penalties against KC. but it is what it is. When you can put maximum pressure on a qb consistently with only your 4 D lineman, thats always gonna yield a win no matter the greatness of the qb. it happened 2x to Tom vs the NYG, happened to Manning vs. Seattle, happened to MVP Cam vs Denver, and now Mahomes vs TB. you're only chance is to run the ball and KC never tried. even early when they were still within reach. |
