All that's on right now is baseball, the only sport lazier than soccer. Baseball is infinitely more interesting and exciting than garbage ass soccer. But you cheer for the aint shit Jays so what do you know. ![]() |

When these World Cups go down, I root for the US to suck, because im annoyed by people who in reality don't give a shit about patriotism and give less of a shit about soccer, all of a sudden become the biggest US Soccer Patriot once this shit rolls around. its fake to me. |

I don't knownifnits patriotism. Its mostly just rooting for the home team. And baseball can be pretty fuckin boring, too. |

MLS isn't the proper metric to gauge soccer popularity anyway. The Premier league and the Champions league are. I love soccer...that's what I watch. The MLS simply isn't a very good product at this point. At least not as good as the european leagues. |

I watch a little Premier. I pull for Everton because one of my Brit friends is a huge fan and they seem to be underdogs. |

i dont know how great a job juergan did. leaves off clearly someone we could of used. last 3 games only start 1 forward. aka very conservative. |

Too conservative. Again that style of play serves well when you have a great counter attack like Netherlands or Italy. Dempsey just isn't that good and JJ has too many lapses. He's not cut out for both quarters. After their poor showing against Germany I had a feeling they would flounder. Maybe that last second goal from Portugal took something out of them.. They got revenge on Ghana and made it out a tough group while having the most unfair traveling schedule. They did OK. Donovan cant play more than 30 mins so I don't know if it would've mattered. Altidore is another question I guess well have to wait 4 more years in hopes of a better showing.. |

i'm a fan of the sport now..... i didn't even know soccer could be this entertaining.... sucks the us is out now.....they should really push this shit i the urban areas of america.... the us soccer team needs diversity...i feel like the average soccer player in america comes from a suburban middle class..and in every other country it's the working class that plays soccer..... and we all know those who come from nothing play sports harder than the privileged... |

i'm a fan of the sport now..... no you're not. its just the World Cup high talking. Like when I thought I was an NHL fan cause I got excited for the Rangers being in the Finals and was watching them. The fad will fade away quickly and you'll be back to normal not giving a shit about the sport hardly anyone gives a shit about in the US, until the next World Cup. |

I don't like soccer. World Cup doesn't change it. Canada could be in it, Jamaica has been in it. I still don't give a shit about soccer. |

Soccer sucks. I like to think we just plain knew better rather than behind the times, but we did not even have soccer in my middle Ga town in the 70's and 80's when I was a kid. |

Wow what an ass whoopin. Dont know what Brazil was thinking cuz it ain't like they would've fared better with neymar anyway. The guy is very good, but at 110 lbs he's clearly a step below Messi, ronaldo and Suarez. This fucken sucks. Now I have no one to root for. Argentinians are assholes. Holland who I usually root for go by on the worst flop/call this tournanment And Germany has always been the favorite. Fuck it maybe all those Brazilians will go back to protesting.. |
