I guess them working during a pandemic, the increase in charges is like hazard pay and with actual lockdowns, dudes really dont have other options.

for all the hysteria, panic, and the sky is falling narrative, you look up and the Yankees are actually over .500, just 2 games out of first, and still 130 games left to be played.

Yanks ain't doing SHIT except maybe winning the wildcard again and getting they ass cut in the playoffs... Can't beat the rays or Astros in the playoffs thats just a proven fact And at this point can't beat the rays at all... Boston and Toronto gonna stay around all yr. Springer and ljndor have been bigtime bums so far for Toronto and the mets and these teams are still 500 So wen these guys wake up more wins will come... Stantons on a roll, but we all know by September he'll die and run out of gas like he always does I ain't hating man just calling it for wat it is... Every time playoffs come Stanton and judge are either hurt or they dont do SHIT... So why would it be any different this YR?? I dont buy it

Stanton was absolutely fantastic in the playoffs last year, but those are facts, and Moe never lets facts get in his way.

tale of 2 careers. in STL he was arguably the GOAT 1B. and one of the GOATS, period. in Anaheim he wasnt even All Star caliber.

.328 hitter with STL
.256 hitter with Anaheim.
and it happened immediately. not like he had a few stellar seasons then dropped off. he was a completely different player the moment he went to Anaheim. no idea why. all i can think is he just wasnt motivated and hungry anymore and never really enjoyed being in Anaheim. he had already accomplished everything in his time with STL. very weird career. but obviously in its totality an absolute ATG first ballot HOFer.

We went down 4-0, to further solidify Peterson is not a starter for the majors. Lindor and McNeil shot the fade in the underground tunnel, and Lindor in the same inning ties it with a 2 run Homer before the Metropolitans take it in extra. We fight and bleed together. Brothers fight. Just win.

Ur right Austin...Stanton was good in the 3 or 4 postseason games he's managed to play in as a Yankee He's always hurt his body can't make it to October.... It'll be the same thing like always if ya even make it this yr...Boston is back this ain't no 30 game fluke there for real Toronto got the same record as ya and ryu and springer haven't even done shit for them yet.... Than u got Tampa who own ya like the pimps own the hunts point broads

Lindor got his trademark big hit that officially makes u a Yankee and met today.... That hr was huge for him and the franchise we'll remember that forever if mets ever go on and make or win the world series and he's the driving force
Carrasco and Thor will be back by June or July... We just gotta hold on and stay within striking distance till they get back.... Hope degrom is OK we need to be extra careful with him
I'd rather give him a extra week off don't pitch him again for another 7 days I don't want him out there Sunday man he's to valuable to risk and fuck around with....
Our hitting has to carry us I think lindor is gonna go on a streak now...I smell a 20 something game hitting streak and a 8 hr may coming for lindor

i hate the extra inning rule starting the runner on 2nd base..absolutely fucking hate it. id rather them call a tie after 11 or 12 innings, if they fear having these marathon games.

Extra inning rule is great No need to have 18 inning games and burn out the bullpen... Start the guy on 2b both teams know wat they signed up for
Benefits great bullpens,or great situational hitting teams... AS A met I want these games over quickly 1 way or another
Mets already have to many guys hurt as it is.... Davis, nimmo, cano out on peds, lugo, carrasco and Thor out till June
So a guy on 2b is all gravy with me

i just think you should earn everything you get, especially with the stakes as high as they are in professional sports. guys aren't gonna stop getting hurt and these marathon 18 inning type games occur like less than 1% of all games. like i said, call it a tie after 12 if you dont wanna go any further.

AL East clearly the most competitive division right now in baseball.
