yea Flair is most likely top 5 on most list and correctly so. but for me when i think about wrestling at its peak, the innovations in terms of characters as well as product, he really wasn't front and center in that, certainly not as much as others were. a pioneer and kick starter for sure. but he doesn't pop in my head when i think about the best of wrestling days, ladder matches, Hell in a Cell, Iron Man Match, factions and rivalries that took wrestling over the top.

i tuned into some bits and pieces of Wrestlemania last night since i got the Peacock app recently.  i must say honestly from what i saw i was blown away. really great and exciting wrestling.  they got some broad Rhea Ripley who is not only a great performer but also has a smoking body. But the Triple threat main event between Daniel Bryan, old ass Edge, and Roman Reigns was one of the best triple threat matches of all time. all 3 guys were A+. im definitely not getting back into the product, my time has long passed for it. but last night was beyond impressive.



also the 2021 HOF class featured Kane, RVD, Eric Bischoff (which is astounding if you know your Monday night wars history), Molly Holly, and the Great Khali.  no fucking idea why they put Khali in. but he seems like a cool guy.

Rhea Ripley has talent. She's got the size, the talent, the fitness, and she sells moves well! Not found of the whole punk girl look, but I'd go raw and put her on the shelf for 9 months for sure. I've been noticing titles going everywhere lately, they tryna give everybody burn.

Pretty sure Khali tore it up in India for them.

its another app along the lines of Netflix, Hulu etc. nowhere near as robust but it has some useful movies and TV shows. also its own original content like all the others. but its best selling point is that it now exclusively carries the entire WWE Network as well. and its only 5 bucks a month right now. but 10 bucks for the first 4 months as a promotional deal. not sure if all WWE events are live streamed but WM was. WWE Network alone was 10 bucks a month so to have it included in the Peacock app for $5 is pretty sweet.

the Monday Night Wars documentary series is absolutely terrific. the Bret Hart episode is especially great.

i love these kind of behind the scenes unknown lil tid bits like this. Kofi botches the spot big time. was supposed to stay down for the "punt" kick finisher, instead gets up, Randy angrily pushes him back down and Kofi once again stands up. Randy completely loses his shit and flips out, puts some extra stank on the RKO and curses Kofi out and repeatedly yells "stupid " at him. ....but you wouldnt actually know it unless you actually knew.
