it is true though that certain teams or individuals who usually get off to a slow start cannot afford to do so. Yankess dont usually come blistering out of the gate. some teams that end up being bad sometimes do start off hot. like when the Mets were 11-1 either last season or 2 years ago. shit at 11-1 now, you're legit thinking playoffs.

I'm of the opinion that if u beat the best teams that made the playoffs u deserve the ring period..so if the Yanks beat Houston and the dodgers they deserve the ring

Man u already know!! As a met fan my season is usually over in June...I always watch in April and may,but July is wen I'm usually officially done...
By the all star break my Mets are usually done

But this year I'll watch most of the 60 games or at least I'll watch as long as were in contention like I usually do...with degrom and matz will definitely be scary early.man if we had Thor right now in a 60 game season we would be scary

admittedly as we get closer i am getting excited to watch baseball. i will watch and cheer and enjoy my teams success same way i always do. but the asterisk on everything still stands. It has to. this is basically a one-off season that stands alone, seperate from every other season ever played. but like my boy Gerrit Cole said, there can only be 1 Corona WS Champ, and i want it to be us.
