you're not as familiar with Sanchez as i am, and i am absolutely notorious for sticking with my players and my teams through the roughest of times. Sanchez is lazy. lazy behind the plate, lazy running the bases, lazy running after passed balls which only occur when he's to lazy to get his body in front of the ball. and his constant getting in and out of shape means he gets lazy with his preparation. i have zero tolerance for laziness.

The Braves are playing some good ball. Pitching has been outstanding and from all young as hell guys. Besides yesterday, our offense is damn good with some of the best payers in all of baseball.

Higgy masterfully blocked about 5 ballls in the dirt with runners in scoring position. Sanchez lets a minimum of 2 of those get by him.

Good series... Yankees will snatch another starter, possibly from TB if they follow their MO, and if they're able to produce the hitting lineup they had this year, they'll be brutal to face.
TB has that feel right now though, looking forward to the Houston series, would be funny if Houston goes on a run.

honestly looking back at that at bat i cant even get mad at Chapman. got ahead 0-2, then dude laid off of a couple tough close pitches, fouled off another couple of tough ones, then hit a 100 mph heater that wasnt even a bad pitch. really not much more Chapman couldve done.

Funny thing is.. People don't really watch man, but Chapman completely out matched him the first several pitches, when the announcemers were saying he was having a good bat... Well yea, he wasn't striking out, but he was just defensive swinging... Then it looks like he got comfortable with the timing, and he really started taking some good fucking hacks... It was two different at bat's, the second half obviously going to the hitter and he got a pitch to drive and took care of it.
