Jeremy Lin feelings hurt over Melo's campaign by the Rockets with Melo wearing his number 7 jersey.
News flash, you are on the trading blocks and been there since the end of the season.

That shit is laughable. I read user comments earlier about that "Houston is so unprofessional, how dare they" it's fucking Carmelo Anthony and Jeremy Lin, how dare they not.

I said this when he was traded to Houston, and I'll say it again. Lin sucks.

New York is known for having ridiculous contracts for ballers and they knew better than to give Lin the type of money Houston did. And to think we had Lowry and Dragic on squad and let them both go to sign Lin. :kopfpatsch:
He'll do alright as backup in Philly.

Lance is no longer an Indiana Pacer. Me thinks he was just ready to go, period. Even if the Pacers offered him a shorter term deal I'm not sure if he would've accepted it.

Love makes the Cavs the favorite, no question.

That's a lot to give up for the Cavs...if they end up giving up a 1st rounder in addition.

if the T Wolves wants Wiggins, Bennett, and a first rd pick, that deal should be done by 9 am today. Love absolutely makes the Cavs the favorites in the East. They are almost guaranteed the ECF as they are now, getting Love makes them much better.

It's not like the Cavs will win a title this year with Love. I wouldn't do the trade. It's better just to sign him next year.

They very well could, certainly have a much better shot at winning it with Love than with without Love. They'd practically be a guaranteed to at least make the Finals.

Bennett, Wiggins and this years 1st round pick is an unprecedented trade offer.

the team is obviously an offensive juggernaut, with love, but its a bit shaky on the d.

The Wolves actually want more than Wiggins/Bennett/ and a first rd pick, and although that sounds like a deal they should take right away, I can understand where they're coming from. Bennett could be a bust and the first rd pick will be in the 20s, probably high 20s, which means you're not getting anything special there either. Wiggins has upside fore sure, but he didn't come out the draft the way a Durant/Wade/Melo did where they those guys shitted on the college game and we knew they'd be franchise players. so you're trading a 25/13 guy for a 19 yr old with upside and a potential bust and a not so valuable late first rd pick.

it depends on how much more, if the Wolves want Waiters to close out the deal then yes, take him. I could understand if Clev stands firm on the proposed deal though, they look pretty good as they are and Wiggins can grow with Lebron and Kyrie. Depends on what you feel about Bennett as well, and every proposed deal ive seen all have had Bennett in them so Clev obviously doesn't care about parting with him, so they probably don't like him all that much and the Wolves probably don't either, which is why they want more.

The Cavs don't have much time with Lebron contract wise, blowing their load to get love is not a good look. They aren't a sure shot finals team with Love, Irving, Bron, Miller and varejao minus waiters Bennett and wiggins. Offer them another draft pick. If they want players tell them to go fuck themselves.

well they would have:

Kyrie
Lebron
Love
Verejao

after that they'd have Brendan Haywood, James Jones, Mike Miller, Tristan Thompson. They could sign Ray Allen for cheap and plug him into the starting five at SG. Then I see a few other SGs on their roster that ive never heard of. idk. that's a hell of a big 3 with some decent role players after that. Looks like the Heat all over again.

Jermz how you feel about the Lakers releasing Marshall?? I was surprised. dude averaged damn near 9 assists last year on a shit team. I guess they are all in on Lin, at least for this season anyway.

certainly seems that way Jermz, but there are enough pieces there to hold out some hope, even if its somewhat delusional hope, what have you got to lose by doing so?? I think the Lakers can get into the playoffs as a 7th or 8th seed if some things break their way. Kobe staying healthy for the yr will help, and he's still an all star. maybe Nick Young steps his game up just a bit. Maybe Lin can be a decent PG, he's not a terrible player as you claim, just inconsistent. Hopefully Randle can be an impact rookie and hopefully they get something out of Boozer. Jordan Hill is a decent player.
ya never know.

but they'll probably be pretty bad.

Well on the bright side, D'Antoni isn't running things, so they'll probably play as well as their talent with any other coach. If they can keep Kobe on a low minute schedule they should be okay. They'll have speed, and they'll have size and post players to play half court ball, so at the very least they'll be a well rounded team. But they wont be exceptional at anything. They'll probably come out of the gate better than expected, and then nose dive as injuries mount. I'll be happy with Lin if he doesn't over handle, over dribble, and over shoot.

I just don't get why the Lakers kept Nash. I much rather Marshall than a cooked Nash. I'll bet any amount of money that within 8 games, we'll be hearing about Nash's messed up nerve problems again.
