What an amazing view into the Mets season last night. Tough game against a tough team, and resulting into the 9th loss in a row of 1 run. Yes, you've read that right, our last 9 L's have been by 1 run. Huge missed opportunity, not over yet.

Mets fought back all fucking game, including tying the game in the very last inning... Then, in a tie game going into the 11th this guy brings in a kid we just called up, who clearly, CLEARLY is not ready for the majors, got one out but that was after 3 runs had come in... Game over? Nah, we fight.
But then.. Down to the last out with a runner on 3rd, he has the option to go Guillorme, a scrap vet who in the preseason had a 22 pitch at bat before earning a walk, he's just a hard professional out, but wait.. We got Almora, who went 0-30 before getting his hit and is hitting .100.
Guess who Rojas hits with.

damn bro. i actually was watching when dude hit that 2 run blast off of Familia to give them a 1 run lead. they mentioned it was his 10th HR surrendered in 50 innings. outrageously bad. sucks ya came back just to lose in typical Mets fashion yet again. i love/hate Boone. love his tenacity, his energy, dude is as fiery as it gets. and i do believe that rubs off in a positive way on the team. BUT, he manages strictly by the analytical book. strictly. and im old school, but also believe in effectively mixing old school and analytical styles together. but dude is strictly analytics and i hate that.

you'd think so but it isnt always that cut and dry. if you trying to make the playoffs, sometimes its best to be in playoff mode down the stretch, and to have the better teams bring the best out of you. Yankees struggled to beat sorry teams like Baltimore, Cleveland, Texas, and Minnesota recently, but just stuck their foot all the way up Bostons asses. i prefer our schedule. Boston aint going 6-0 down the stretch.

Well the other shit part for the jays that I didnt even catch, is that in addition to boston having a weak sched, the yanks have tampa the last 3 games, who might have zero incentive to finish strong other than pride and knocking you guys out of contention.
