Sam Darnold fin'na be the truth. so excited for this year. Yo, I gotta admit, I been down on Sammy since college, but I;m hearing good shit about him. Excited to see what he does. you gotta appreciate the dire circumstances Sam was in as a rookie with Bowles at HC and Bates at OC, with the limited talent around him. its a mini miracle he put together any positive play at all last year.

I swear the 49ers have to be the worst drafting franchise in the league. Nick bosa was downey soft in HS, downey soft in college, but lets draft him at #2 and hope he stays healthy  he hurt himsef in OTAs. He hurt himself in training camp and is out for the entire preseason possibly the opening game as wel. After we took two bums in the first round in 2017, passing on stud QBs in the process. Oh and Jimmy G has been throwing it to the defense almost as much as to the offense in training camp. We spent a third round pick on a guy named BeatHard, who is now on the bubble and being outplayed by a UDFA named Mullens. We could have also took CMC or Kamara or Fournette, instead of signing fill ins like Tevin coleman and a bum like jerick mckinnon to serious money.

Dan Orlovsky said it best when he said Darnolds ability to throw accurate passes in a bad pocket is special. his pocket presence for a young qb is amazing, combined with his ability to throw accurate passes on the move after maneuvering in the crumbling pocket. and while all these things are true, im completely overreacting to one preseason drive. football is back.

Yea its embarrassing the way QB market is. Bums getting paid while quality players at other positions have to hold out and fight for their money.

Auston, I don't know if I am getting suckered into the hype, or what, but I am starting to buy the NYJ as a playoff team this year. they've got the talent to compete for the playoffs, and a favorable schedule as well. it all depends on Darnold and Gase, and both have been getting rave reviews so thats where alot of the optimism is coming from.
