Someone being reckless and dumb doesnt mean they were selfish bad people to where you'd have to be like ah fuck him he deserved to die. Every single person here has driven close to 100 mph and thats one of the dumbest, senseless, and unnecessary things a human can do, and it doesn't mean you're selfish enough to not care about leaving your loved ones behind when you decide to do it. Some people just feel overly confident in their comfort zones and unfortunately Roy paid the ultimate price.

One is a much simpler machine where not much can go wrong and is on the ground, and one is a complex one that's in the sky. The level of catastrophy from being stupid in one dwarfs the other.

But if you were to call me a selfish stupid dick for driving 100 mph and killing myself and possibly others, well it would fit just as well. That's not a tragedy, and Roy, god bless him even still, is even further from that than I would be in the car.

Of course you'd skew the reading comprehension to suit your argument. Nothing much can go wrong with the car itself at 100mph versus an airplane. There are simply more ways an airplace can fail when misflown. So, advantage, car. Under conditions where both fail, one is in the air, one is in the sky. Again advantage car. There is less margin for error flying a fucking plane. As such, the dude who flies a plane reckless and stupidly, is worse than the dude doing it with a car. It's not rocket science. You cant just say you're gonna ignore that whole part of the argument when its a big fucking chunk of what goes into it.
