I was right about Jake Paul, hes not what is advertised at all. 5 rounds in and this dude was sucking air profusely. Woodley was faster, stronger, hit harder, and was the better striker. His issue was that he fought too cautious, didnt let his hands go, and was just not comfortable with having to cut off the bigger guy who was on his bike in a ring versus the octagon, in addition to clinch, which Paul used as a smother. Garbage fight. Jake Paul gonna get his ass whipped soon enough. And Jake Paul wont be knocking out anyone who has a pulse.

obviously you have to grade Paul on a curve. we've all seen legit great boxing. he aint it. and thats supposed to be the case. but he's pretty good given his schtick. dude was a nobody Youtuber a few years ago. now he just beat a former UFC champion. imagine either of us training for a few years and then beating a former UFC champion. Its pretty impressive, again, grading on a curve.

I cannot stand either of the two, and I tuned in to watch Woodley hopefully knock his head off.
Here's the thing though.. This dude is carefully picking opponents, and he seems to be putting enough work into it that he's able to defend himself in there.

I ain't bothered by this shit at all. He ain't stopping anybody else from making money, he's not the reason boxing isn't really producing high profile fights in a consistent basis.

This clown got in the ring with a 39 year old retired UFC fighter who I thought for a split second forgot what he was doing ans looked like he was going to go in for a takedown at one point. Regardless of that though, he got in there and did well for himself ans entertained me on a Sunday night, for free on my end.
