I have no strong desire to denigrate Wardell for winning this chip. Hes one of the greatest pgs to ever do it. No he ain't the best passer defender or ball handler. But his shooting is one of the best X factors the game has ever seen....and brings down the need for star players because it creates the biggest mismatch problems. If I was making a team right now of today's players I'd take a healthy steph 2nd only to a healthy non load managing Kawhi Leonard....a mythical creature I know lol.

Yea but I don't like the forced nature of it. Kyrie will give you plenty of opportunities to go at him. All he did here was simply opt in on his contract which he obviously had every right to do. Unfortunately Kyrie isn't a very slick guy so his response was wack. It's a wack situation all around and i wish it wasn't brought to my attention.

I thought Steves angle was that Kyrie opted into his contract, which would only secure him a year, and actually force him to play in order for him to position himself for a longer term conract, but props to BK for not buckling and pretty much forcing him to opt in.

I get Steven A's point, and leading a movement of "nobody should give this man anything more than a one year contract" is a bit fucking shady man, but fuck it let em go and just enjoy
