i had no fucking idea the same mandates that prevent Kyrie from playing in NY is not applicable to the rest of the teams. so any other team can have unvaxed players playing in NY, but Kyrie cant play. literally the dumbest shit i ever heard.

It's been like this the whole time chief. The reason why you're only hearing it now is because the media and the establishments grip over peoples common fucking sense where this shit is concerned has been so gah damn strong that the people who are usually sensible never brought it up because defending Kyrie or other unvaccinated was seen as undesirable, demonizing them was in vogue, no matter how stupid the reasoning was.

And if you look at it in the round, NY and Toronto taking the position that they did had negligible effectiveness. The amount of covid going around sourcing from other teams has generally been equal or demonstrated no pattern in terms of vaxx versus unvaxx. The 2 or 3 percent of those unvaxxed wouldn't have done a damn thing. The vaccine didnt stop spread at all pre omicron and certainly didnt do a damn thing post Omicron.
