Ya im starting to lean towards yes also. I've seen virtually all of his games. The win percentage is legit. He usually had a good defense helping him, but not usually that good an offense. Yet he always found ways to get the big play and enough points, especially in some of the odd situations where the defense got lit the fuck up. All those trips to the nfc final cant be sneezed at. His completion percentage is kind of low for a Hofer...as his his touch down number. But he found a way to get it done most of the time against some of the best teams and qbs of his time.

Personally I am no on both warner and Mcnabb.

without the postseason Warner would be the nfls version of Don Mattingly. but he took 2 different teams to 3 SBs, and won 1 of them, while the other was a classic where it took some miracle plays to keep Warner from 2 titles, and then the NE loss by a FG. and the fact that he did it with the Rams and Cards means a ton as both teams were hot garbage before and after Warner. these werent elite and primed teams he lead. Warner is absolutely a HOFer.

I disagree. But I am on record as saying all of these HOF's are way too big and let too many people in.

That he just wasn't ELITE. If it were up to me I would kick a lot of people out of these HOF's. Kurt Warner was a REALLY GOOD qb. But I don't want REALLY GOOD in my HOF. I want the best of the best. Based on the shitty standards of these HOF's yeah he deserves to be in. But to me its a dilution of what the HOF means. Are you gonna tell me that kurt warner belongs in the same discussion as Montana, Manning, Brady, etc? Or would you say he is a step below those guys?

not all HOFers are created equal. if Brady, Montana, Manners is the standard then you're gonna have like 7 qbs in your entire HOF. for not being elite Warner certainly has elite credentials. so idk how that works for you.

Yea the answer is in the middle. QB's are over enamoured, so too many get in to the HOF and it further blurs the standard year after year.

i whole heartedly agree with your message. just have a wrong example IMO. but the NFL more than any other gets it right IMO. my issue is usually guys that dont get in. I don't see the NFL HOF as being flimsy to the degree that boxing and MLB are.

Nothing is as bad as them. NFL's problem, IMO, is that the focus is on the skill positions. Too many QB's, RB's, WR's make it, while safeties, nose tackles, etc get the short end.
