Number 1 MMA gloves dont make it easier for Conor to land on Floyd, they make it harder. 2 And I know you'll see this as a reach, Floyd can weather a punch better than Conor can, and worlds better than any opponent has ever had in the UFC. 3. Floyd hitting Conor with Gloves that have no padding, will be a harder punch than Conor has felt in his life. This isn't to make Floyd a world beater, it's to denote the difference between MMA training punching and professional level boxing trained punching. I could sub in any elite boxing career trained fighter of the same size and it would be the same thing. Floyd might break his hand throwing as hard as he can wearing those gloves, but Conor's lights would be out! And we aren't even discussing the speed diff, with is wholely incomparable.

Sorry you're wrong. Conor is also deceptively quick. He's naturally bigger and stronger. Floyd is small and 40 yrs old. Floyd got rocked hard by Mosley 2x and Maidana, with boxing gloves. The few times he got hit flush, he got hurt bad. Now imagine Conor, doing that with MMA gloves. Floyd would be hard to hit, but it won't take to many shots.
