i do think Masvidal is a bit overrated at this point. that said he's still a very good fighter and a tough fight for Conor.

He's one of the best, I dont think he's the best, he just always matched against sub par strikers. The best striker he fought was Diaz, and he was 1-1 against him, and Murder Mas owned him, even if he's a bit aged, he owned him. Conor aint the best striker bro, naw, he's just one of the best where he's at.

Ya I feel the same way about masvidal. I know comparisons are sometimes a crap shoot, but here it is.

Mas beat Till, but then so did Woodley just as easy, if not easier. Usman outclassed Woodley. Mas doesnt beat Usman. but Mas and Conor though, they hover around the same skill level. I'd probably still go with gamebred, but he aint slumping Conor, that's a 5 round hell match for him.

Meanwhile I think Usman crucifies both of them. In addition, if Woodley got his life together I wouldnt put either over a fully motivated Woodley.

id give Masvidal the edge over Conor cause of his size and chin. i think Conor is the better more skilled fighter, not by a wide margin, i don't see either stopping the other so Masvidal just outlasts him and wins it down the stretch. i agree on Usman, but, in what was strictly a stand up fight against a wrestler, he got hit way to much and to cleanly vs Covington. now it stands to reason that he'd just wrestle and rag doll Conor and Masvidal for 5 rds. but i dont care if Conor is undersized, Usman is NOT winning a pure striking battle vs him, or Masvidal.

its tough to say anyone is the absolute best striker, Conor is certainly in the conversation and perhaps he is. its not just something that can be said with 100% certainty, like saying Khabib is the best grappler, thats just a fact. Gaethje and Ferguson are also in the convo. Ngannou. Miocic. The newly invented Masvidal. all in the mix. but i love how Cowboys coach called Conor a limited striker with just a left hand, and Conor wins in 40 seconds with the patented left hand having the night off.
