That's why I laugh when Russia sells their S-400's to any and everyone and Lockheed Martin is holding the bag with their Patriot System. That kind of shit makes me laugh even though Lockheed Martin is still the largest defense contractor in the world.

I am anti-imperialism. The CIA was in Afghanistan before the Soviets were in '79. It all started as a foray to try and combat so-called communism. Destroy the Soviet Union at all costs. Because there can only be ONE Superpower. And after the Soviet-Afghan war of 10 years, the USSR collapsed. It wasn't the only reason the USSR collapsed but it did have something to do with it. And it was all set up by the CIA. Why have we been there for the past 20 years? Because of lies about 9/11.
In the late 1990's, the U.S. government began negotiations with the Taliban regarding the construction, transfer rights, and fees associated with gas and oil pipelines from the Caspian Sea to the Arabian Sea that would ultimately pass through Afghanistan. When the Taliban hedged, the lead U.S. negotiator told the Taliban delegation that the U.S. was prepared to "shower Afghanistan with gold or shower her with bombs."
9/11 happens. George Bush tells the Taliban that Osama bin Laden was responsible for 9/11 and ordered the Taliban to hand him over. The Taliban said correctly, show us the proof and we will hand him over. The US government refused. And the war created, planned and perpetrated by the NEOCONs was on. 20 years and U.S. $3 trillion later, the entire gambit was clearly seen as a total fiasco. The US government is broke, the military is broken, and the NEOCONS continue to feed on its carcass. But, just like World War I and World War II, everything reported about 9/11 was a pack of lies and we are of course reaping what we have sown.
