The US only goes where the resources are..

1. Because they want some of said resources either free or in control of people who will give them a deal that they can exploit.

2. Because they dont want said resources in the hands of people who generally do not agree with their ideologies.

And if the group isnt going to be a threat for a while, no worries, the US will just go underground with another country and fund some radical group in said country to trigger a civil war, so that they can come pick up the pieces later and take advantage of a war torn country after the fact.

It's actually the extreme result of looking out for your own interests. So when guys like vic say that the US should just stop playing police and look out for themselves, I laugh, because that is a simplistic view that ignores the fact that looking out for themselves is exactly what has made the US do what they are doing right now. What the US should do is actually give a fuck about these other countries.

You cant spend decades getting into everyone elses shit, pissing them off, and gaining enemies, and then just pull out and stop devoting time to keeping them under your boot. Tactically that's moronic.

They have nothing to gain from Africa. That is true humanitarian work because they'd be getting almost nothing for it, but they'd be committing a shit load of resources in order to bring about true change because theyd be fighting all these assholes who are exploiting the people, and then would have devote madd money to help the people, build infrastructure, etc. Aint no fighting off the negative element in africa with cruise missiles and aerial shit, thats ground war. They fuck that up, and black people in america have more reasons to be upset.

What is the president of Africa doing besides begging for US help? I hate that we police the world. It cost American lives and millions upon millions of dollars when we do it. But if we going to play police than be fair about it towards every country. Its obvious that Africa cant hold down their own country. So I hope that America does get involved and wipe out the terror networks that exist in that country. The problem is that those people know the jungles so dam well that we be walking into a ass kicking if we do. I'm guessing a small group of soldiers, mainly snipers, can do the trick and knock off the head guys in those terror networks.
