A Religous war of some sort has broken out. This is breaking news.

So, my last day at this job is next Tuesday, i'll be taking the next 3 days off to go to DR and relax a bit, visit pops site before heading back to the NYC to get at it at my new job.

Anyway, heads wanted to have a farewell shindig, appropiately so, I'm kind of a big deal here, so why wouldn't we have a get together. Issue is, with my last day being Tuesday and me flying out the very next morning, next week wasn't gonna work.

So i'm like "Whatever man, just let me know when and where and we can get it popping". They are like "No! it is your day, you let us know when and where, send the invite out to the whole floor".

I'm like "Cool".

Out goes the invite to the entire fucking floor last night, Happy Hour April 18, 2014.

Brings me to ask you guys, who here celebrates Good Friday? Not no much celebrates , but acknowledges it, you know what I mean, who?

Anyway, I don't do the bible talk man, so I had a few heads approach me on some "Come on , not today", and i'm like, "Listen man, I pray every day, my church is wherever I play, thats my only rule, if ya pay respects in a different manner, thats fine and I respect that, but really, don't fuck with me".

My invite wasn't to be disrespectful man, I don't plan well, so you have me send my own invite to my own farewell gathering, fuck outta here.

I resent the invite and included every Thursday and Friday for the next 2 months, cause thats what I do. Pick a day mothafuckas, and come wish me luck.

Nobody loves GOD more than me, fuck is wrong with these people.

Everyday people are dying and getting told they have cancer.
You can't help that and mean nothing by dancing and praying on graves.
Beneath us this very minute are ashes of people in the past.
YOu mean no disrespect by taking a leak where you thought was safe, private, and not sacred.
People have their days and sometimes you are the test...they do what they have to but should know you aren't in the devil's hand.
If people waited for the perfect moment to celebrate and God still didn't want it he would let you know......he might talk to you like Noah or Moses.

I have no issues drinking on good Friday or even on Sundays for that matter. It's just a drink. I'm not out fornication with bitches. Some people take shit too serious.

A day is a day, is a day. Those same hypocrites ain't going to church.

You shouldn't have done it on good Friday man. It's strange. I'm one of the most habitual line steppers out there. But equally people get weirded out by my religious tie. Good Friday is the one day in the year where I will not try and run some stuff. Respect for Jesus.

That said man....if you set up a function today and said roll thru, imma roll thru. I might not drink....miiiiiggghhhhttt not.....but we definitely gonna crack some jokes about some shit we did in the office, talk about the boss lady with the phat ass...

I can respect that man. I'm open to peoples ways man, the world would be stupid if everybody moved exactly as I did, I just feel it has to go both ways you know, don't really question me because I don't go to church or because I will eat a 2 piece chicking dinner tonight and perhaps have a few drinks, cause on the real, I speak to god every day to give thanks and talk a whole bunch of other shit that be on my mind, and overall I don't remember the last time I did something foul to somebody that was not done in retaliation to something done to me.

I just find it funny that a lot of the people preaching that good word tend to be staright up assholes in life overall.

The following Friday, May 2, I can't make it because it's my pops Bday and I don't chill on my fathers bday ever since he passed, and if I were going to thrown down a few, it probably would be with people I see closer to me in my life.
