Yeah I hear shes going to be packaged in a trade with some other American spy for a russian spy and a russian arms dealer. So this sentence was just a formality. And part of it was her kissing ass and apologizing. Im a fan of Lake but that is a terrible take.

The "marine" was dishonorably discharged and has basically been a mercenary spy for a long time, and got caught on CCTV engaging in espionage in Russia. There is nothing innocent or unjust about this situation. Which is why the Russians took a hardline talking about his release. They did it with Trump, and they did it with Biden. And it's really saying something because neither side of the divide pushed the matter further, which means that dude is guilty as a muthafucka.

I didnt use this excuse to justify her shit in the moment, but I'll happily use it now. She only got caught with some personal use weed. That aint shit for her to be volunteering to stay in Russia for the sake of a fucking mercenary spy. Fuck Lake on that one.
