But JandJ got the brakes on. Moderna says the vaccine only showing 6 months of effectiveness...but they got boosters ready, Astra Z got blood clot issues but that's the issue this the virus anyway, Vaccines don't seem to be as effective against variants and those varients are going to be the majority of cases.
With this much COVID in the gen pop and the widespread massive use of the vaccine, the virus will only get smarter to a staggering degree.

My post was a sarcastic one because a lot of folks are against getting the vaccine.....
I'm with it.. I've gotten about a million questions from people who report into me: "If and when it becomes mandatory for us to report to the office, will they make taking the vaccine mandatory?"
No.. Absolutely not, and the J&J developments make that more clear, you can't force people to take the vaccine if they don't want to, and I could care less what my company decides even though I know they would never take such drastic measures, taking the vaccine is up to the person who's taking it, nobody can make that decision for them.
If you think the vaccine can kill you... Don't take it. Isolate. Wear two masks, etc etc..
I took the vaccine... Survivived two open heart surgeries, a Hematoma, and I just had a few skin biopsies done along with a million tests and some Asian chick electrocuted me for 30 minutes because I can't go a full day without a part of my body going fucking numb, which is probably a result of all the nerve damage I've suffered. So Covid and the vaccine could both suck my dick.

A I took Moderna, both shots a month apart. The second one had me with the flu the next day, I was good by the time I went to bed. Most of the folks on my team have had the same reaction with the second shot, they've had the symptoms the next day.

There is money motivations behind the vaccines but by a large margin it seems they are a good answer for someone at risk (and others who aren't but might protect the at-risk). Nobody is crazy for taking them. Moderna at Pfizer being the best. J&J was only 60ish% effective anyway. The bad sign is this need for boosters. With continued boosters, the virus is sure to overcome them at mutate into something else---possibly worse.
I haven't got one. I don't see the need for me personally. I'd just like to see this play out for a good long while.

Yeah my Mom said everyone she knows got sick on their second moderna shot. Im not looking forward to it. Luckily my employer implemented "emergency time off" for covid relates things. It amounts to an extra sick day. Ill get paid and it wont count against my PTO balance.

yea i took my 2nd on Friday, felt sick Saturday morning, felt like I had a moderate cold with a bit of a headache. by the time the UFC came on at 7 i felt fine.
