The reason I can't get behind any man like DeSantis is because of the obvious propensity of seeking power. Period.

The best of us, who is best equipped to govern, will never seek to govern other men. They, the forward-thinking, can't believe that other good and intelligent men would have to look outward to see how best to run their own lives. In other words, it's always the conmen who look to govern because they see the weak as looking to hear their voice as a new gospel. That gospel is the audacity to think they have specialness. In the worse case, a direct line to God which ain't a new thing or a thing that as fully developed to our untimate unraveling as a free people.

The shit did annoy me when I heard it, but im not gonna go all trump derangement syndrome here, Nah I get it, Trump looking for ways to fund his campaign, he knows the GOP isn't behind him. I dont like Trump, but I have no interest in a GOP backed candidate, that muthafucka is going to be the biggest slave to the apparatus. I'm not sure if this was the way, but it's why it was done.
