To all my conspiracy theorists out here....

How much fossil fuel do we have left?

Oil is abiotic, IMO. I think 'peak' oil is a bit of a myth.

Think so???? What makes you believe that? Some brief reading and some short though, I tend to agree.

Just some reading and radio listening I did in the early 2000's when more people were talking about it. I haven't done any research or reading on it in quite awhile, but, I kind of lean to that 'theory' more than any other. I don't think we are anywhere close to being out of oil.

Yeah. The whole idea of fossil fuels being a fossil fuel always rubbed me wrong, but I didnt care much about it. In the last hour i've turned the corner and I really dont buy it. I dont think fossil fuels have very much to do with fossils by the accepted understanding passed around today. It's actually lazy science that has taken us to accept that without poking more holes at it.

The implication is that it changes the reality of oil being as non renewable as it has been claimed for some 200 years. If its not really or only a fossil fuel, and doesnt require millions of years to replenish, then this shit is a far bit more renewable, and that we just need to get better at finding it, processing it, and using it.

But I have more reading to do still!

I have pondered that question as well, how much do we have left? Shit, take a drive and there are a shit load of cars that fill up a tank every damn week.

As far as what puts the petrol in the ground, it makes sense to me. All living things, whether dinosaurs or trees, or grass or possums or whatever living thing, is carbon based. So is, I can imagine all that rotting living carbon based life turning to another rear on based goo over long period of time.

I'm not saying that it doesnt make sense to a degree. What bothers me is there is no attempt by science to try to quantify or recreate any of it in order to prove that its true. In fact it provides the ultimate cop out "uhhh well...this theory takes a gazillion years for the process to complete, so, we cant reasonably do anything to prove it, but trust us, we're scientists". Whats the conversion ratio? How many life forms does it take vs the amount of hydrocarbons that science has estimated we have left? And most of all, if its due to life forms stuck under rocks for millions of years....WHY are hydro carbons so concentrated in some areas and devoid in others? What? Was life prevalent in certain areas, and completely missing in others??

I just think that it makes more sense that the two element that hydrocarbons are made of (Hydrogen and Carbon) were around when the planet was created, and probably a much higher source of it by comparison! And as they work their way from the innards of the planet, they change state and and temperature, while get stuck in pockets underground along the way. When stuck, the pressure from the earth plus the elements plus the rock and you end up with hydrocarbon that also bears the signature of a fossil. In addition I think that's why there have been instances of oil and gas wells replenishing themselves when thought to be empty. With the ever shifting earth under us, you get either new wells, or paths to old ones, and they refill.

Update. Opened 2 accounts, and have made $1000 play dollars in a simulation in 2 days of practice investments thru foreign exchange contracts and CFDs. Havent touched the stock account yet. (Maybe be quitting my job unrelated, so I might go real account soon while I'm riding my office chair at home in my underwear.)

There is profit possible in this world going at it every day, but the initial investment to get that is steep. Get about 30K in there with the ForEx and CFDs, you could hustle about a G or 2 a week easy. Or you could start small, a couple thousand, and just work your way up to those 15-30Gs, and then go bigger. Its just like being at a casino, but the crazy big return or the complete drop out is highly unlikely. Just modest gains and losses that you jump on and off.

Still slowing routing my money into the accounts and running more tests as I go. Money moves with the accounts still look good in theory.

Might have to adopt my brothers daughter later this year(whole different fucking story), so may not quit my job when they move me closer to home in april. Of course if they pay me properly Ill have no reason to quit anyway. So I'm just trying to power save all I can til april, and worst case I put all I have into the investment account and try to make bigger returns per day per investment.

Going on exchanges and Contracts for difference is like gambling at a roulette table without being able to lose everything in a roll, or being able to crazy multiple your winnings. But if you put 10s of Gs down on something, you can sit at a desk, watch it go up, and pull out when the profit is what you what, or jettison if its falling too low.

I was playing with the US Tech 100 one day, shit just kept rising, sold when high, next few days it fell. Just gotta know when to get the fuck off the train.

If I wasn't racking up I wouldn't have been talking up certain stocks years ago. You ain't on my level bummy. I was investing in Nvidia back in early '16. Go look at the price now dummy. And that's just one stock.

Any dummy can make money in this market the last few years.

Jk. How do you pick your stocks? Any particular research site? Investors business Daily, motley fool? Tell us, I’d be interested. Been thinking about getting back into some individual stocks. What brokerage?

My main investment that’s going to provide my money when I retire is real estate. Buy houses and rent out. I highly recommend. Pro’s and con’s of course. I’d be happy to answer any questions about it.

Other sound investment strategies that have worked for me:

1. Live below your means. In other words, spend a good bit less than what you bring in.

2. Pay off credit card every month. Period. No exceptions on that. Get an American Express you have to pay off.

3 buy a reasonable car and drive the fucking wheels off of it. Take good care of it.

4. Max out 401k. At very least, do the matching amount. Burrowz brokerage can tell you what mutual fund to invest in lol.

That might be why the west is playing the PR game so hard and trying to say Russia is losing, to sustain the market.

But ya the market is actually reflecting the progress of the war. What do you recommend?

Not being in it.

It is honestly only going to get much worse.

I'm just waiting for the true anarchy to start.

I expect it when food rationing starts. Once the food really starts disappearing, that's when shit will get real.
