they've definitely been in the news a lot over the last week. JJ that is. even the 3 sites that were shut down recently, because a handful of people experienced what was said to be possible expected side effects. why shut it down then if whats happening was always possible and expected?? shit i remember reading the papers they gave me prior to the shot, and i basically read it as "dont be shocked if you die from this."

so clearly you can still get Covid after full vaccination. we already knew that. but allegedly it does usually prevent you from getting sick or at the very least it severely eases the blow if you are a part of the small minority who do get sick. cool. but while they strongly insist on still taking all heavy precautions even after vaccination, and they show numbers that strongly suggest you should get vaccinated, my question is, are people avoiding the virus because the vaccine is indeed working on the majority of people, or are they avoiding the virus more so because they are taking heavy precautions anyway, thus theoretically making the vaccine moot??

if you're gonna get the vaccince you just have to know exactly why you're getting it and what it means. they say its 94% effective against severe disease and 80% that it makes you immune altogether. so just hope you're a part of 80% lol. stll a decent number. so thats really what the vaccine is in theory. makes your chances better. doesn't completely eliminate the possibility of getting sick. unfortunately not everyone sees that.

I dont think enough ppl are being vaccinated to conclude that it's because of the vaccines. Not to mention the simple fact that vaccines doesnt stop spread. They simply stop end user sickness. It cuts down the symptoms, but it doesn't stop you from being a carrier and spreader while you're symptom free sick. Thats why I said from the front end of the vaccines that by all reasoning it would trojan horse Covid.

People are vaccinating up here in larger numbers daily, but simultaneously COVID numbers have gone through the roof to such levels that the govt has put in another severe lock down! You can't even go into big chain stores to buy anything other than food, pharmaceuticals and household shit TP cleaning agents etc.

I'd sooner conclude that after a year of this people are becoming more effective at protecting themselves. I know for sure that I am. But to split the diff, its probably some percentage of both.

What I dont like is how all these outlets are twisting info into saying the vaccines prevent infection. There needs to be clarification and qualification of that statement, because the vaccines technically dont stop you from being a spreader. Yes. If you dont have symptoms, you're likely not coughing and your functional dispersing of the virus thru the air is reduced. But there is nothing in the literature that demonstrates that it makes you immune...or that the vaccines suddenly makes your body turn your COVID into a non spreading variant of the virus. It's a rather important distinction to make....especially when all the pro vaccination literature keeps throwing around the idea that its an infection preventer.

seems like our daily average is between 3-4k. Covid is our pet.

Its not going away. Where it goes away, it will return from places it's thriving. And extend that out because of Brazil, India, etc.

all schools in our district shut down for 2 weeks after a number of various outbreaks.

We opened schools back up along with other things, and some time later, we get 3-4K a day covid infections.

Honestly, my faith in human intelligence which was already at record lows, has gotten even lower when they decided to re open schools man. From the jump of this when they closed schools, ppl complained about how why do they gotta close schools when it doesn't affect kids (when its obvious that kids can carry it and will easily get it at school and then take it home). And while covid took off but didnt hit any highs.....ppl then took those numbers and said "well just send the kids back to school its no big deal, we need somewhere to send our kids".

So these fucking morons open the schools back up....then the covid numbers go high as fuck (something BHO was way ahead of theorizing...and wouldnt shock me if Burowz was in favor of)....and then after a short period of schools being open it's "oh shit...we need to close the schools". It's the intellectual equivalent to someone holding a knife outside of an electrical socket and wondering if it'll shock them...and believing that it wont, then shocking themselves and acting shocked and surprised.

We're the fucking disease. Covid is cleansing us.

I get about a notice or 2/week from my daughter's school that a case has been ID'd and appropriate steps have been taken to quarantine and ID'd secondary exposure. The first few times I read the shit. EAch time, and still after the 20th notice, they always point out they didn't get it at school and didn't expose others people at school.

I mean WTF....how can they not have gotten it at school at least once or spread it at least once? You can't prove it either way if you take people's word for it.

There has been no effort on any competent level to stop this....whatever man. no tracing worth talking about from the get-go.

And all this theatrical crap about freedoms and liberty being taken away something to do with wearing masks and staying distant is on another level childish. No patience...no logic or reasoning......

How can they be sure that they didnt get it at school? How can they be sure that they didnt expose others? How can they be sure how much has passed through the school without them knowing because there was assymptomism at play??? How does it all even matter? The fact is that schools being open create the theoretical path way for it to travel! And like water, if there is a pathway, the shit will flow!!!

And even with all this, neither one of this is about forcing ppl to vaccinate and what not, so neither of us are extremists here. But common fucking sense and reasonable precautions and protections, can we at least get and maintain though? And we never have for any reasonable amount of time! Just ass hats complaining about freedom, and govts opening shit up in the worst ways to do have this thing gain strength periodically like a hurricane over warm water.

The J&J vaccine was only 60ish percent effective. I'd think that would be a better reason to suspend its use rather than the clotting of 6 women of 6million does. The others are 90+ and seems to be 99 preventing death.

India posted a daily covid infection number of 314,835.....i dont know if that was simply delayed infections from past days...it must be. If not, we aint ever getting over this shit. They are drawing dumb conclusions in that article.

Even if a vaccinated person gets sick, they’re not likely to set off a chain of infections that could spread through a facility.

But then they earlier said that they dont check a bunch of ppl til someone symptomatic triggers them to check everyone. So basically they are assuming that isnt showing symptoms... doesn't really have it, until they test them and confirm that they do, but they aint testing them til they have a reason. That's a bad assumption to make, and under that assumption, you'll never come to learn the true risk assessment of the possibility of infection after vaccination.

This just gives more credence to what I said from jump. People who have been vaccinated are having and carrying the shit out of COVID, but they aren't suffering from symptoms. So they are just as likely to set off a chain of infections, they are just unlikely as fuck to know that they are unless they or someone along the chain shows symptoms....forcing the entirety of the chain to be tested and scrutinized. But then you cant even conclusively determine the order of infection in a lot of cases.
