NATO and the EU have simply not been held accountable for their role in this. I've been following the development of the Russian Suhkois for years. They estimated they'd have 80 of the Sukhoi 57s by 2027, I have no reason to believe that Putin didnt step that shit up in anticipation of this. Germany and Hungary have flat out rejected sanctioning the Russia energy sector. Lol. And the US is supposedly out begging Venezuela and Iran for oil. Neither of whom the US has been friendly with in previous decades.

Russia being cut off from swift is now routing all it's deals through China, which would be good news for the Yuan for as long as Russia is being sanctioned.

Also heard reports that Ukraine was going to forswear joining NATO in day 3 of the peace talks.

Death toll in this war on either side thus far is still unknown. Ukraine said they've killed 9000 russian solidiers, Russia says it's only been 500.

The US in trying to get Fighters to Ukraine, is trying to get them in through Poland. Poland told the US to get stuffed. So now the US is "asking" Poland to give it's old Russian MIG 29 airplanes to Ukraine, and in return the US will give Poland an equal amount of F-16s. Poland reiterated that it wont send its fighter Jets to Ukraine, because they see it as them supplying fighters to impose a sort of no fly zone over Ukraine is akin to violating Putins decree that other countries must not participate in the war. Poland hates Russia and Putin, if they arent willing to do this, i dont know who in the hell else will.

The US apparently needs Poland is an interlocutor because Ukranian pilots are not trained to fly F-16s, and the US has a short of F-16's due to a lot of them being sent out for standby in the south China sea.

The EU is also backtracking on its promise to supply Soviet Jets to Ukraine. Either they can't find any, or they are terrified of supplying them and seeing hypersonics flying their way or waking up to the pipelines empty! Russia at last communication reiterated that if any countries host Ukrainian fighter aircraft, they will see it as said country participating in the war.
