Yea man. The definition until this year was "immunity". The CDC and Merriam-Webster changed here in 2021. :lol: They really are changing the words on the fly. The goalposts are always moving.

New data coming out of SA shows Omincrom is 10x less deadly but over 30% of all people tested are positive compared to Delta numbers here in the US at around 5-8%. This shit is fast spreading and in six weeks has overtaken Delta with over 90% of all current infections.

Its going to go wild I'd guess around January here in the US.

The infections will be quadruple past any high we've had so far and will outrun any testing we can do. Its coming soon. The only thing that will, or should matter, is hospitalizations. Omicron has an RO of 4-5. Highs of 200,000/day will be a million so you can see if itt not deadly ist will burn out quickly. Infections have to stop scaring people if its less deadly (x10 less deadly in SA).

They are going to use the infections against us forcing more mandates of all sorts I fear. Once this thing burns out they will say how well the mandates worked.

Side note: the person I most closely work with returned to work yesterday. She's good. Can't taste or smell but was only sick for a short time. She gave it to her sister who is having a hard time and her infant got it too (the infant is good). She lives with her mom that never showed symptoms.

Me personally im of the belief that these vaccines were never stopping shit in the first place. These covid numbers that are "rising and spiking" are a result of more testing of the vaccinated being done because of the omicron panic. As soon as they said they didnt really have to test vaccinators anymore, they created a framework where the only ppl who would test positive in large numbers are the unvaxxed, so they could then demonize them. They could then say the case count was low and feign false progress in fighting covid. And it has always mostly been old and infirm filling hospitals, which was always going to be unavoidable and would vary from place to place.

What I will find annoying is after the omicron spike dissipates, they'll praise the vaccine as what got it under control (when its mostly the broad scale immunity from infection that did), without having any evidence that the vaccine is what got it under control, then use that as justification to push further mandates.

I'm interested to see how the panic will be mitigated because even with it x10 less deadly a fuck ton are going to get sick. They'll test now when it's pointless sending people home to quarantine but it's too late. There will be a fuck ton of people out of work in all walks of life.

I've read today that these vaccines are not effective against Omicron, are 33% effective, and now we up to 85% protection (i.e against severe symptoms as they smartspertsplained). It's crazy how so called experts can continually get shit so fucking wrong. And what would he suggest anyway? The vaccine?? Which has already been admitted and proven to NOT STOP INFECTION????

All this stuff is just opening the cracks further. It's showing how bad their numbers were in the first place. None of it can be sourced, and none of it matches whats being observed. They are just blatantly lying now to keep vaxx numbers steady, and to prevent a full blown panic.

Cant wait to see how high this surges.

This guy just says it. They either know they are lying or don't know what is going on in their own shop. Either way, it's not a good look and how are we supposed to trust anything they say. "We know of zero events with kids and side effects of the vaccine/" 6 days later the CDC has a meeting about the thousands of "known" instances with kids and side effect listed through VEARS (and you can expect that to even remotely touch the actual numbers given the complicated mess of filing).

For all the shit we can see happening, no one can know the long-term effects on kids as seen with other vaccines in the past looking a decade into the futrue or more. A German study found 2/1000000 kids saved because of vaccinations with 1000's of known side effects in kids. And healthy kids and healthy adults just aren't dying. This ain't a one-shot to fix it all as we all don't fit the profile for need. There is a risk stratification assessment that is blatantly ignored and I don't understand it.

My right hand homie got COVID last week, he's in quarantine at home now. Alpha and Omicron variant. 3 days of headache and stuffy nose. His mom got delta earlier this year. Also tanked it in 3 days, and she's old, overweight, with comorbidities.

There are things you can have that will make the risk greater, and for some im sure its just random. But having issues and getting covid, by the numbers, is not the automatic death sentence that they make it out to me.
