you actually have to follow the story and pay attention, and it probably helps to have seen the first. Also I may be a bit biased as I am a big fan of Thor (best Avenger hands down), if you don't give a shit about Thor and didn't see the first one and you're watching the 2nd one drunk you're not going to like it or know wtf is going on.

the first one, is a fun movie portman and denning are adorable, some cheap laughs. the 2nd one was just a mess.
the villian felt like a filler episode. loki has to carry all the drama which he was ok at.

the villain was a side bar, to help further the real story line, which is obviously Thor vs Loki. Loki was terrific. he's bad, he's good, oh no he's bad, hooray he's really good, oh no he's dead and died honorably, oh no he's not dead and Thor is fucked going forward. great stuff.

I saw that Loki guy in the latest Jim Jarmusch movie, which was about vampires, and not very good, because it was about vampires. He's a pretty good actor, though.

I watched Thor 2. Def better than the first. Loki is the fucking man though.
Iron is the best Avenger. At least to me he is. For some reason I can't get behind Captain America. Just don't like him.
