by about the 3rd or 4th event the novelty of boxing being back will wear off and i will be thoroughly disgusted with these fights and uninterested.

You would think that these promoters would be all about trying to cash in on a sports starved world right now. Fucking 6 million people tuned in on cable to watch bray and manning play shitty golf. Can you imagine what the buy rate would be for a Pac vs Spence, Garcia, porter, tc would be if it were to go off soon?

Bro u gotta remember Spence and tc are nobodies...
To the casual fan they ain't shit
Mannys name don't even carry weight like it used to

Manny keef did 500 k and he did worse with broner...
Ppl watched Brady and Peyton cuz there iconic legends....2 best QBs ever and tiger is the goat while Mickelson is probably top 5 ever also

Just cuz 6 million ppl watched that gold shit don't get it twisted bro....and it was free it wasn't on ppv! If it was on ppv 6 million wouldn't have bought that shit not even close

U know times have to be really tough wen ur bragging about 2 bums like Joe Smith and Alvarez being the best fight :hearty-laugh: :hearty-laugh: :hearty-laugh:

Dam wat a pathetic state of affairs!!
Boxing has to do much better than this...
UFC having blockbuster matchups every week and this is the best boxing has to offer???

It's really pathetic....Nunes Spencer is a legit great fight man.im embarrassed as a boxing fan we gotta step up

Nunes/Spencer isnt a legit great fight though. thats a glorified squash match.

guarantee Nunes destroys her without breaking a sweat. but maybe it is because she's just so damn great.

Bro Nunes is the unquestionable goat....she beats everyone easily that's wat the greatest do they make it look easy

Pennington and shevchenko the only ones that have her a fight so far...Zhang and rose pose the biggest threats to Nunes stylistically but there to small so it would never happen which is a shame

I think right now today shevchenko is the only 1 that poses a real threat, but she beat her twice already...dude Spencer is sick she can fight
If she gets crushed by Nunes tomorrow it says more about Nunes not her

where's all the hardcore boxing heads who get butt hurt and offended when i speak the truth about boxing?? shit is back and nobody talking about the fights going down?? :facepalm-gesture-smiley-emoticon:

the 2nd card was pretty nuts. the Lopez-Coria co main event was a great back and forth action fight. boxer vs brawler with each style taking turns dominating the action. then bum ass Magdaleno fighting that dirty filthy Dominican. Magdaleno is a soft ass fake tough guy with wanna be skills. Dominican hit him with the entire dirty kitchen sink and finally got himself DQd in the 10th.

and you know what, in MMA the whole being influenced by the crowd thing has never been an issue cause the action is more clearer to see and decipher. in boxing its obviously different. but ive really enjoyed the no crowd thing for boxing. and in the Lopez-Coria fight where the action was fierce and non stop, those scorecards couldnt have been more perfect. hopefully the no crowd thing can improve judging and the overall process if deciphering whats going on without the crowds influence.

also going back to that Lopez-Coria fight, the trainers match up in that one was Buddy Mcgirt vs Robert Garcia, and Buddy absolutely smoked him. you could hear loud, clear, and tangible instructions being yelled out by Buddy in which his guy actually listened to and effectively implemented. meanwhile all Garcia did was excitingly yell "Dale! Dale! Dale!!" and "Asi Asi Asi.!!" :facepalm-gesture-smiley-emoticon:
