There are guys Hop is beating today that even a shot Roy could've beaten, so I'm still hesitant to reward his abnormal genetics. He was never better at any point than Roy was for like a decade. That can't be forgotten.

There are guys Hop is beating today that even a shot Roy could've beaten doubtful. that's not to prop up Hops opposition, the last 2 are hardly worth talking about, but shot Roy is as pathetic a fighter as there is. I wouldn't pick shot Roy to beat guys like Murat, Shumenov, Cloud and Pascal.

If so ,please enlighten me He lost rounds to Hopkins. Montel Griffin too. Lou Del Valle, of all people, won a round when he knocked Roy down. This is my take on it. B hop is definately top 30,but roy is higher.
This is how i see it.
Name the last modern fighter to
Go from 154 to heavy and win titles .
Who thinks he loses to a cruiser before the ruiz fight ??
Name the last fighter to gain 51 pounds over a career and still be out weighed
30 pounds on fight night and win a belt ???
Ill wait.
(Thats like asking floyd to go weigh in at 154 and fight hopkins
At 175 and thats even to light by 8 pounds.
So to make it completely fair ,
Throw in kovalev which is closer to age as ruiz was)
Floyd wont even fight sergio or GGG at 160 or ward at 168
Name the last guy who went undefeated for 15 yrs
Who didnt duck his top 3 threats in his division .
Name me the last guy who beat 2 alltime greats in their primes
