Id say Weeks is a real fair dude. Good for Maidana too because he lets infighting happen. YOu got one hand free he lets them go. Remember Weeks was ref during Castillo/Corrales. He was the ref too just recently who stopped Cinnamon and Angulo. Any thoughts?

Weeks is a terrible referee. Three judges I have no problem with. There's probably a scorecard or two with Moretti, because he's done so many fights, but none of them strike me as, "Fuck, not that guy."

I think is odd how these refs get the jobs.
Who is a good ref? Smoger?
Funny he (Smoger) has never done a Floyd fight.

Never thought of Weeks as terrible. More like uncontroversial. He's been a controversy machine lately, between the awful Perro stoggage, the super strange handling of Alvarado's corner retirement, the terrible job of ignoring fouls in Swift-Matthysse. This was all in a six month span. Now this is more polarizing, but I always thought he mishandled Corralles-Castillo too. I'm not a fan and never understood how he was always included with other actual good refs. I like Weeks. Bay less was good st one point but now seems a bit too meddlesome , especially in the big fights.
My favorite is of course Mercante lol. Benji Esteves must be good because I cannot think of any fuck up moments he's had.

Weeks is not great, but neither is Bayless. Bayless is too touchy-feely and talks to the fighters too much which distracts them, IMO. I think he tries to get too involved. I've seen better refs.
But, who the ref is doesn't matter; nor does the judges.
