Judges are not going to give it to Lara if it's close. Canelo is a big part of the future of boxing. Lara is not. So I understand a close decision going to Canelo. If Lara is to win he is going to have to put on a great showing and not bore the judges or the crowd with his running. |

Are we really going to say the Canelo Trout decision was wrong. I thought it was a clear and fair result. I think Lara will win some good rounds but won't be able to stay away. |

war Lara either ud for him or aTrout type decision for Canelo what does that mean? it means having the cards already filled out before the fight starts, like at least one judge did, giving Canelo 7 of the first 8 rds or some nonsense like that. of course open scoring lets Trout know he's down huge, bringing down his morale and having him fight for a KO.

A Trout decision is a fight that could go either way, that Canelo has no chance of losing. That was a pretty close (shitty) fight, that I scored a draw. Judges had Canelo winning 9 and 10 rounds. That's pretty disgusting. I don't think Lara-Canelo is going to be that close. Stylistically, it will resemble Canelo-Trout, which doesn't bode well for Canelo, because Lara is better than Trout in every way. Lara's troubles against Angulo, which always gets cited, don't mean much here, considering Canelo fights nothing like Perro, and isn't going to be pressuring Lara, making him uncomfortable, and susceptible to getting hit. |
