Guess you didnt know lol his parents brought him back to Puerto rico when he was still a baby.

It's not that uncommon of a thing. My Unc was born in Philadelphia and went to Puerto rico as a baby

I know it's fairly common, I just genuinely had no idea until minutes before starting this thread. Nothing in the world made sense anymore. :lol:

I actually used the Wayback Machine to see when Wikipedia started to mention Providence, like fucking Gyllenhaal in Zodiac, a haunted man searching for answers, and Caguas was listed as the city he was born in until August 2015. Then Providence finally appeared. Cotto went 1-2 after that, the humiliation of being discovered to be born in Rhode Island, too much to overcome.

When the day comes lol it’s been like 100 years. Ricans hop scotch back and forth, come and go freely from the states to the island there is no paranoia or urgency to be born stateside lol you got us fucked up my friend.
